A great product
I don't often give Amazon reviews, but this is a great product if you want a quality, robust data cable cable for outdoors. The cable is not very flexable, but that comes with the territory, - well made outdoor cable, with quality internal screening for the pairs.

Solid, sturdy - best outdoor Ethernet cable I've found!
Bought this to run Ethernet into the garage, and picked it up because it seemed like the best value. I was running it near the garage mains cables so needed shielded cable. Had to buy proper Cat7 RJ45 connectors for it (it won't fit standard ones) and a crimp tool, but after that - it certainly proved why it carries a premium price. The cable's double jacketed - there's a tough black outer jacket which protects the inner purple jacket and cables. You can run it through holes in concrete floors and it might scuff a bit, but very little will get through. I had a piece catch on a sharp rock - it penetrated the black layer but the purple inner was fine. The only thing you have to remember is - strip the outer (black) layer first and leave the purple. If you try to fit a plug to the black insulation, you'll have problems crimping the earth braid, because the cable will be too thick for the braid crimp.Downsides - it's very thick (10mm or so) and quite tough to work around anything but the most gentle corners and bends. Because of the thickness, you need 25mm conduit.Speaking of which, it's a nightmare to run in flexi conduit - it wants to hold the curve it had on the reel, and will grab the side of the conduit. You need either double-wall flexi or solid conduit, and probably some cable pulling lube too. A job not for the faint of heart! But the good news is, when you get sick of trying to (unsuccessfully) run it inside underground conduit "for extra protection, just in case", you can give up and direct-bury it ... because at the end of the day, it's direct-burial cable! This is rough-and-tough cable, for rough-and-tough, outdoor runs, underground or on a cable tray. Runs where there's only one direction: straight ahead. It probably won't go between the rafters, but you should be using normal Cat6 or Cat7 for that anyway! This comes very highly recommended from me.

Fast and solid well built cable
Does the job well. Very robust and so not worried about it being on the outside of the house exposed to the elements. Just do be aware the cable is thicker then your standard office network cables and purchase the appropriate connectors. Other than that, extremely happy and would recommend.

Extremely good cat7 cable but it isn't armoured
For my purpose of running cat7 between my house and garden studio, this cable is absolutely perfect. Very easy to work with and very sturdy cable. There is no signal loss that I notice at all over the 35 Meters between my house and studio. I used 12 mm cable clips along the fence line to install. However, given it states that the cable is direct burial, I don't recommend it as it is not armoured. I tried a spade test on the cable and my spade went straight through it like butter. As I said it is very sturdy, but I wouldn't recommend burying this cable.

Home install
Looks like a durable product, however the outer is not neat and initially looks like a basic wind of wires inside.Once started working with it it’s good cable - found that I had to carefully cut the outer black covering back to expose the purple cable cover inside, so as to make it easier to firstly expose the wires and when finished crimp the earthing. It is hard to manhandle when fitting the plug but with a second pair of hands and some patience it’s quite easy to use and looks like it’ll last a long time.

Happy
I was originally very upset that there were no cats in the package. I expected 7 cats but then read the description and understood my mistake so I used the cable to add Ethernet to my 2nd floor office instead.Cables terminated easily and tested to standard on the first attempt. I made two 25m runs with 3m of the cable weather facing. I have seen no packet loss in a variety of weather conditions. Keep in mind when buying that outdoor cable is thicker than regular plenum cable.

Excellent! Very rugged cable to outdoors
I'm getting better internet speeds up in my office 60m away from the house then in the house with this cable!

Good quality cable
This is one tough cable, but you get what you pay for. Hooked up with some VCE pass through connectors and job done!
