I wanted a phone for my future travel in China so I ordered it. The web site says that it is unlocked and can be used in various carrier which is good. However I turned on the phone try to set the region. The are only some countries available in the region dropdown. There is no China selected unfortunately. There is Hong Kong and India available.

I did not purchase this from Amazon, but from a retailer in the Caribbean a few months ago. My iPhone 7 Plus had konked out and I needed a temporary, cheap replacement. The retailer said Xiaomi was one of the best upcoming phone manufacturers. I did not know much about them, so I did a little online research and felt I'd give it a try.I am pleased to say that this phone, based on the price point and my initial expectations, did not disappoint. I take a lot of photos and so I tried out the cameras. It has a 13 mp back camera and the front camera is 5 MP that I sometimes think is an 8 MP. The pictures in good light are so clear and beautiful that sometimes I think the cameras may be Sony cameras. I mean, the colour saturation is wonderful and the clarity is there. I took pictures for friends, even with flash using indoor lighting, and they all ask what phone this is, because the photo quality is so good. The selfie camera is amazing. The colour saturation may be a little less, but you'll just love yourself all over again with the photos you'll get. The portrait mode works wonderfully in good lighting.Now, I take a lot of videos and I go to music shows and I needed the phone to have good sound reproduction. Well, I can't say that my iPhone 7 Plus has anything on Xiaomi. The sound is crystal clear, even close to speakers that aren't too loud. The video quality is great, once you don't zoom in too much in low light/night time/competing light sources situations. I am very pleased.The only limitations I noticed for the camera are the handling of very low lighting situations, like after the sun starts to go down or inside with no proper light or dark night photos. With the flash you can get great results, once the subject is not too far away. Zooming in too far in those situations is not recommended, but for a $100 phone you can't expect everything. I cannot complain, because it does enough for the cost.The call quality is great.I have the 4G, 64 GB model and the apps run great, until you get close to using all of the inbuilt storage. It's very snappy once you leave some room for the phone to execute its processes. I would recommend the 64GB model. I was advised not to buy the version with the 2GB memory and that was great advice.I had one issue where I could not update the Xiaomi software, because the updater had stuck for some reason. I just backed up my info and reset the phone. I never had the issue again. I would say, update all system apps when you get the phone, before adding anything on there, then update the other apps and do it that way anytime there are updates from Xiaomi or the Google play store.I am satisfied with the sound on the phone. It is quite loud and with good quality. You don't need a speaker unless you want really high-quality sound with bass, etc.I love it that it has a headphone jack, so if you have both a bluetooth and a corded headphone you can use the jack when the bluetooth headphone dies. Both work well. I find pairing to be quite easy with the headphones and speakers.The screen quality is beautiful to me. It's brilliant and clear and Xiaomi comes with a lot of wallpaper options, if you're into that.THE BUILD - I am not sure what material the phone is made of, but the back and sides feel solid and great in my hand. I feel like it's a very sturdy build. It has a nice weight to it. The one with the green colour is just beautiful! I advise getting a good case, because holding it without, based on the design, it tends to jump from app to app, as the screen is sensitive and when the edges of your fingers make contact, it activates the apps or whatever it is you touch, right away. That aside, it's fine. If you're careful, you can go without the case, if you wish.XIAOMI sends updates quite often, for various parts of its software. It comes with several of its own apps and some bloatware that you can delete.I had to delete the Netflix app it came with, because it wasn't working and could not be updated. I had to use APK cafe to install Netflix and I had to use another app (Split APKs Installer (SAI)) to install the downloaded file on the phone. Once I figured it out, it was fine.The flashlight app is POWERFUL AND BRIGHT.The notes app is great. it reminds me of the ios app a lot.The BATTERY LIFE is awesome. The 5000 mAh battery gets me through every day, most times, with heavy use and many times there is still 40, 30 or 20 percent left to spare and this is with heavy browsing use, photo taking and so forth. I cannot complain. I would have to recharge my iPhone, with a new replacement battery at least twice for the day.So, all in all, this is a GREAT budget phone. I know others who bought it when their phones gave up and they are also pleased and pleasantly surprised. It will be worth the money.My phone was recently in a bad fall (while in a slim case) that it should not have survived and, would you believe, the outer screen did not break, the casing did not break and only the inner screen broke. Despite this the phone itself is still working and can be repaired. I just need to get a new screen, which I will do. So, I believe this phone was built to last a long time. I will recommend it to anyone.Great job Xiaomi! I LOVE THIS PRODUCT and I will be a repeat customer over the years, from time to time.

While this is a great and inexpensive smartphone, I am writing this review to warn U.S. customers that if you have T-Mobile and plan on using this device in the U.S., you will likely not be able to take advantage of mobile data. This has been my experience and T-Mobile's official answer after much troubleshooting. I am not very technical, but I think LTE band 66 is what is missing in this device for use with T-Mobile.So where the description suggests, "Compatible with Most GSM Carriers like T-Mobile, AT&T, MetroPCS, etc", this (in my experience) only relates to calling and texting. I think this is important to know before your purchase.

No carga, el problema es que el pedido llegó el día 30/12/22 a USA, pero mi papá me lo entrego hoy en Costa Rica y resulta que no carga.Necesito me ayuden de alguna forma
