I am very happy with these LED retrofit lights! They must be used with recessed cans that have “C-clips” (also called torsion clips) that you attach the new LED’s spring metal arms into. My challenge was that the old cans in our house are an unusual style and had no C-clips. I purchased those C-clips separately from Amazon, installed two of them onto each side of my 6.75 inch recessed cans, and they worked perfectly with these new LED lights.Once my new C-clips were installed, each of these LED lights takes literally about two minutes to install. Each LED light comes with a screw-in attachment that goes into the lightbulb socket. There is an orange snap-connector on the end of the screw-in attachment. You cliip that orange connector into a matching one hanging from the LED light. Then all you do is squeeze the metal spring arms to insert them into the C-clips on the recessed cans, and done!The trim and baffle are a fresh new modern look to replace my old yellowed recessed lighting trim. And I am happy to no longer have to change those expensive incandescent indoor flood light bulbs that seemed to blow out all the time. It’s a bonus that these are damp-rated and dimmable (but I am not using them with dimmers). Unlike some other reviewers, I had zero issues with the metal attachment arms.4000K hue is our preference because as we get older we need bright light. The soft white (2700k) is too dim for us and the 5000k is too glaring. 4000K is perfect. We are slowly switching to 4000k everywhere in our house. I always also pay attention to the lumens, which tells you the brightness-somewhat like the wattage in an incandescent bulb. The higher the lumens, the brighter the light; the K number tells you the hue (yellow, blueish daylight etc).This set of 12 is an unbelievable bargain at $59.99. I needed only 7, so I would have had to purchase the set of 4 for $29.99 + 3 individuals at $9.99 each—that was the same price as the entire set of 12, so I basically got the other 5 free.I do like these lights a lot and recommend them. I originally purchased these 5 years ago and a few of them just started going out. I use these lights everyday for long hours. Great lights easy install and long lasting for a great price. I will continue to purchase these lights as long as they are available amazing product.

I currently have 17 of these installed for over 2 years. One failed in the kitchen, which regularly gets left on for 14 hours a day. I would not say that is a bad fail rate compared to other bulbs I have been using. The light is excellent. Zero issues with fitting flush, and the clips are adequate to hold them flush. Realistically, I don't think this kind of light will ever really seal adequately for you to depend on them for sealing your heated and cooled envelopes. I use light can covers (foamed in place) and other sealing techniques to keep air from leaking through my can lights.

I bought these lights based on the high lumen count and pre-wired connection. They are exactly what I was looking for. These lights are very bright and really light up the room. They are pre-wired with an E-19 screw in connection, so I didn't have to cut/reconnect any wires, which made installation super easy. Once the old recessed housing was out, installation of each light took only a few seconds. I am very happy with this product. They have been installed for a couple of weeks, so longevity is yet to be determined.So far, the only downside to these lights is the rim (the part that lays flat against the ceiling at the edge of the recessed can) is flat, meaning that any surface roughness from caulk, cut drywall, etc. from installation does not allow the rim to lay flat against the ceiling. The housings I removed had a slightly angled rim, which allowed space for minor roughness without pushing the rim away from the ceiling.Overall, I am currently extremely happy with these lights and recommend them to anyone wanting bright recessed LED lights.

These lights installed easily and work well. They also dim consistently the same as opposed to some other lights which have issues dimming at the same rate.

Perfect to replace a multitude of original incandescent recess lights. New LED light are a great remodel option, especially the ability to adjust from soft to bright

These lights are the worst fitting I’ve ever used. I’ll never buy them again.
