Yes, working OK. "10% load" means the equipment you are powering through the Smart-UPS is only consuming 10% of the full rated load of the Smart-UPS. (You have spare capacity to guard another item or 2 - say, a router, modem or an external disk drive.) 100% charged means the battery is at peak capacity, for longest possible runtime after the power goes out.

Ours is giving a 'replace battery' message. I can't find any support materials on apc website. Any guidance on how to? smt1000.

I'm going to disagree with the previous response, if you open up the unit you will probably find that the battery/batteries inside are standard 12V/7Ah or 12V/9Ah as used in fire alarm systems, emergency lights, etc. You can likely order a quality brand replacement e.g. Powersonic at a good price if you are willing to wait for shipping. for a 7Ah the part number would be Powersonic PS-1270 F2 (the F2 means .250" faston terminals not .187") just reuse everything else around the batteries and hold them together with packing tape once you have the battery "pack" rebuilt. enjoy.
