This worked great with my Vizio tv and soundbar. Very well made too and easy to install.

Only used for 3 hours but so far is exactly as described. No volume adj, and their other model has that. I didn't need it for my patio stereo. The sound is very very good quality, exactly as good as the sound signal you provide to your Toslink tv output or whatever you are using this for as a source.My main home system is a large McIntosh system over a $100k. I know sound. This little unit delivers and if there are PCM sound quality issues, it's not coming from this little gem. DO use a little inexpensive USB plug in power converter wall wart. One should honestly come with this unit, but it doesn't - but for $12 for the device, I'm not complaining. I do NOT recommend plugging the USB cord needed to power the device to a USB outlet on the back of your TV.I'm completely happy with this purchase. As described and the audio sonics, noise floor, detail, pass through is totally as good and quiet and behaved as the signal you are feeding it. Using the patio TV (older and free 60 incher) as the source to my outdoor receiver and decent speakers, the TV sources both streaming and OTA - with deeper bass like commercials - was fully revealed.Don't know how you could be disappointed with this unless you somehow got a bad one. SOLID build on the little guy, too! Heavy, metal case and well constructed.

Works reliably

I have old TV without ability to connect headphone. But without Headphone I can not watch TV. ( I have bad hearing) I try a few converter from Amazon, 50% of them were fake or did not work in my situation. Finally, I got 192 KHz converter. Perfect! A couple of options for connection: RSA or Optical. I use optical, no needs for me for RCA. So, I dod not know how this converter works with speakers, but, again, with headphone is absolutely perfect. Very good quality of sound, easy to connect. Thank you very much.

We had just bought a new 75 inch Samsung TV, one of the biggest mistakes we have ever made, when you see Samsung Run. Having only one audio out and thay one is a 3.2 mm digital out I needed something for my headphones. I thought I was ordering Digital to RF out . . The Mini Digtal audio is relatively new and with Samsung having only the one audio out I needed a convert to use my wireless head set. The transmitter is RCA connecter and this item does the job. It is well made, works well and is a cheap way to get up and running again.it. It appears to be well built it works well, sooner or later I will need it. I give this an A+.

I bought it to convert an optical connector output to into a RCA input of both an old and new amplifier. It failed to produced sound in both instances. It comes with an optical cable which does not fit into the optical output of the TV. So I guess if you have the right setup it might work, i just went by the description, optical to RCA convertor, and it didn't work for my setup. it very disappointing and aggravating, but its not worth returning since its only 13 bucks, hence the bad review. But by all means for that price try it,maybe it will work for you,

Got the product and installed it in a couple of minutes. VERY SIMPLE INSTALL. The wireless headset I have only has RCA plug inputs. My tv Samsung tv didn't have RCA or a 3mm output. The tv has fiber optic or HDMI ARC. Went with this product choice to adapt fiber optic to RCA. Tested the headset and it worked perfectly.FYI I also have a Samsung soundbar that requires either HDMI or fiber optic input. So, I have additionally purchased a fiber splitter and an HDMI ARC cable that should come in a couple of days. When they arrive, I will try both options and see which I prefer. I'll probably go with the fiber splitter so it keeps an additional HDMI slot open for possible future use. We'll see which works best.

The unit itself works great but I had to make it work (Which I shouldn't have to).So here the good:-- Main Unit works as expected - But I had to get it to work with some extra stuff (see below)-- It has both optical and coaxial input which give you flexibility - I'm only using optical from back of my AppleTV for Karaoke connection to my sound mixer and it worked great.-- I was pleasantly surprised to find both optical and coaxial cable.Now, the bad:-- Major one -> The unit does not include Power adapter - only includes USB cable. Therefore, you can't power this unit by plugging it into power outlet. This could be a deal breaker if you don't have a USB outlet near by to plug in the charger cable that comes with it. I had plenty of old phone adapters so I used one of my old ones - again I shouldn't have to. Unit should be fully functional out of the package.-- The charger cable came with a package would not fit the unit. I ended up ditching the charger cable that came with the package also and used my own cable.All in all, I will keep the product since I made it work but not fully satisfied with the product.
