I got this book as my local college recommends it on their website, I'm however with another course provider which is more flexible as I have a full time job. I got 20 years plumbing experience and currently 2/3 completed a Nebosh OHS diploma. Just started reading this book and the OHS is on point and very well written. This book is laid out for us practical dudes, keeps you engaged. The grammar is amazing along with useful information boxes etc. Big thumbs up 👍🏻

Updated Review 22/06/24I have used the book extensively throughout the academic year studying the Level 2 syllabus and it has been invaluable. It has clear practical explanations and diagrams which enhance every aspect of the C&G study material that was provided on the course. For me it has been a game changer and has helped me to achieve a very high standard throughout all practical and theory elements of the course. I would recommend this book to anyone undertaking the Level 2 plumbing. In fact I would say you need this book if you want to achieve a really good understanding of the many different elements throughout the course, there is more to plumbing than you may think. Next up Level 3.Original reviewI have been studying the book for about 5 months now to undertake some pre-study prior to my course in September. The book is very informative, content is detailed and easy to follow, with good visuals/diagrams and online references to other materials for further reading. It also has questions at the end of each chapter to test your learning. Unfortunately this is where the book is let down 'slightly' as the answers are not in the book, but the PDF is downloaded from the publisher's website. This is not the end of the world but an extra 8 pages at the back of the book would have made for a more complete study experience having everything in one place. I cannot comment on the overall accuracy to the actual syllabus as I have not yet begun the course, but reading it at this time is providing a very good foundation of knowledge for the months of study and practical applications ahead. I purchased the book based upon positive reviews which I can fully endorse, I believe it will be a great reference book to compliment the course and highly recommend this to anybody considering a level 2 study in this subject. The book's technical content is 5 stars just let down by not having the answers in the book itself hence the 4 star rating, but overall very satisfied with the purchase.

This book covers everything you are going to need for Level 2 and does it with excellent quality photographs and illustrations.I consider this book essential for anyone doing a Level 2 plumbing course even if your college/training provider has its own in house training manuals.Highly recommended.
