EDITED REVIEW (From 1 star to 5 stars!!!!!)Okay, so yesterday I was about to return this because the remote stopped functioning after about the first 10 seconds of use. Thankfully I didn't go and process the return the same day, because this morning I woke up to a personalized email from the seller (hi Chris!) who explained kindly why my remote may have stopped working. Basically, I just needed to use the right type of USB port. I bought these LEDs for the back of my PC monitor, so initially I used the USB ports that were built into my PC case. Evidently those USB ports were NOT the right ones to use. Once I switched to the ones built into my motherboard, the remote worked without a problem. It also worked perfectly with a regular phone charger USB port that connects to the wall plug. In sum: If your remote works for like the first 10 seconds and stops working, use another USB port!!! Don't be like me and jump to conclusions that the product is faulty after trying one USB port.P.S. If you are planning to stick these to the back of your PC monitor, make sure to order 10mm 4-pin connectors. You'll need to cut up these strips and peel back the rubbery top layer and the sticky bottom layer before sticking them into the connectors.

I bought these just to see whether I’d want to go all in with a higher end kit instead on wasting money on something I’d end up not really caring for. I bought the length for 38-58in based on my tv being 55” and it’s too short. It goes up one side level from where it connects to the usb, goes all the way across the top, then all the way down the other side. No length left to go across the bottom and back up to meet where it starts. So I ordered the next longer one. The low price for these makes experimenting really easy and they do work satisfactorily, but would be best for sets that are mounted to the wall. The light with my setup with the tv on a stand is just far enough away from the wall to dilute the effect, but it’s good enough for my purposes.

Purposely waited a year to write an honest review. When I read the reviews about the great customer service, that’s what ultimately made me choose this one over the others. SO HAPPY with this purchase! When I first received it was disappointed that it didn’t work correctly so put the customer service to the test. I immediately emailed them and had a response within an hour! They told me the remote was the issue and promptly sent me another at no charge. The remote arrived in two days and the system has worked ever since. I applied the lights to my 60” TV in the living room which gets used pretty much every day. I cleaned the area of application with a damp cloth, a dry cloth and then an alcohol wipe before applying. I also used a small piece of clear packing tape to secure each corner( the parts that don’t have adhesive) to avoid them weighing against the adhesive on the lights. In a year I haven’t had an issue with adhesion and the lights are as bright as the day I got them.I highly recommend this product!!

Nexlus has excellent customer service! I had absolutely no problem mounting the lights because it was so easy. The remote is a fabulous bonus because of all the available options to light up the area in just about any color combination, including slow and fast fade. I was getting daily information from Nexlus which proves their superior customer service. I am extremely happy with the results. I have a 65" TV and the lights for that size TV are quite ample! Thank you, Chris at Nexlus, for staying on top of my purchase! I am very impressed with your company.Nexlus sent me another kit to change out a couple strips that flickered off and on. I was so impressed with the customer service and the replacement of one of the strips did the trick and my backlighting is awesome! I am now very happy with the ambience!Post note: The sticky side of the LED strips don't seem to want to stay put so I bought some Mozilla Mounting Tape and took small strips and put them behind the LED lights every 3-4 inches and now they stay put.Love the product and the amazing customer service!

Can't get all the colors to work

I put this behind my television and it looks extremely amazing. Best part of all is that a changes colors with your phone or the application super durable. I’ve had this for almost a whole year super easy to install and the money.
