Best sourdough EVAH
This is the best bread baking book. My favorite recipe is the master sourdough. I recently took up sourdough bread baking and tried several recipes from different books. This is my absolute favorite. The crust is crusty and the texture of the bread is amazing--moist and chewy. And then the flavor--super delicious. It is also flexible. I like to use a good amount of wheat flour and so far the different proportions (up to 2 parts wheat, 3 parts white) have come out great. If there's one bread book you should definitely have, it's this one!

Easy to understand for all bakers
One of my favorite influencers I follow on Instagram. She makes beautiful breads and rolls so when her cookbook came out I needed it in my lineup. Easy to understand for any baking level. I’ve been baking for 45+ years so I’m hopeful she writes another one for a more advanced baker but this is great and still found good info that was useful to me.

Excellent recipes with just enough detail
This bread baking book is a.must for any gluten fan! Muratore wrote approachable recipes that anybody can follow. I appreciate the overview and introduction at the beginning, again really written to everyone can access bread making. She makes the process less daunting and shows how you can make your own [insert favorite breads here]. And the scrumptious photographs will make you hungry instantly. A must buy for bread fans!

Love this book!
I have followed the author on Instagram for a long time now and I was so excited to get her first book! The recipes are so easy and delicious! I’ve already made the cheddar-beer loaf and the foolproof focaccia. If you have never baked bread before this is an excellent book to get you started!

Book is great-But I ordered NEW not used!
This book has some great ideas and will be very much used to up my bread game. 4 STARS. Sadly, Amazon continues to sub in used books for some odd reason. The book smells of dryer sheets, usually used to hide the smoke smell. There is also a sticker over the UPC on the back which I see when I do buy used (I don't do this very often). I am tired of the deception Amazon and maybe a class action would wake you guys up! I know I am not the only person this is happening to. Add to the fact the delivery person (UPS, USPS-heck I can't tell) left the box out in the open rain, and box was soaked thru, yeah, I am a little pissed!

On a Knead-to-Know Basis
As a food writer I was able to obtain an advanced copy of "No Knead Bread Baking" by Paulina Muratore. At first glance it would appear that the book is marketed towards novice and new bread bakers. However, after studying it for a bit, I realized that—as a passable bread baker and sourdough aficionado—there's actually quite a bit of useful information and techniques that would benefit even myself.Pros:•Very simple and concise instructions.•Recipes are very straightforward and not fussy with all kinds of extra steps and nonsense that I've been seeing lately.•As someone who appreciates accuracy in measurements, I love the she includes the weight—in grams of course!—and in more traditional cups/tablspoon/teaspoon measurements for the less OCD crowd.•Plenty of room in the margins for adding your own notes for one's own personal adjustments.•Book isn't obnoxiously large for those of us that are counter space challenged.•Lots of instructions in the front for newbie bakers on terminology, tools and equipment one would need to get started.Cons:•I wouldn't have minded more photos especially of some of the lesser-known recipes; I'm sure this decision was made to save space and keep the book a more reasonable size.•Not all the recipes are sourdough, as they're mostly yeast-based recipes. However, there's a really simple fix to this as you can just sub in 100g of 100% hydration starter for 50g of water and 50g of flour. I tried this on her Grandma's Dinner Rolls (pgs 94-95) and it worked great! See attached photos.TLDR: Great book for bread newbies but still worth a read even for more experienced bakers for the fantastic, no-fuss recipes. Highly recommended.

Great for new and experienced home bakers!
I was first inspired to bake bread when I began following Paulina on her Instagram account and jumped at the chance to receive an advance copy of her cookbook in exchange for a review.Sourdough bread is now a mainstay in our home, and the sourdough bagels are a regular weekend occurrence much to the delight of my family and any friends or visitors who happen to be around. I never imagined I could have such success baking bread until I discovered Paulina's methods. I have been making quick breads for many years but felt intimidated by the process of yeasted bread and didn't know how simple and achievable sourdough and yeasted breads could be. Baking bread has become one of the most regularly satisfying things I do in my kitchen. The master sourdough is my absolute favorite for its tangy, chewy interior and crispy crust, and the same can be said for the bagels. Since receiving the cookbook, I am expanding my horizons and have successfully made English muffins, the olive oil sandwich loaf and have baguettes up next. I love the variety of recipes from sweet to savory and the spectrum from breadsticks to boules. I'm looking forward to all the fun I'll have making all these wonderful recipes, knowing I can trust the process and the outcomes.Paulina's recipes are so approachable in the way they are laid out with simple, understandable instructions, clear & concise explanations of terminology to demystify the process and tips & techniques with a conversational style that first gave me the encouragement to believe I could become a home bread baker. And she continues to inspire me to try new recipes with her cookbook, Instagram account and blog. If you ever doubted your ability to make amazing breads, there is No Knead to Worry!

What? No pictures!
I was rather disappointed when I received this book. It hardly has any pictures. Who doesn’t want to see what it’s supposed to look like when it’s done baking.
