Good Power For Garmin Aera 660
Needed a cable to use with a Garmin Aera 660 yoke mount for in-flight power that would route the cable down. This cable should not be used for data transfer.

like the original charger
I bought this to replace my broken Garmin car charger. I believe it originally came with a data cable as well, but I'm not the originally owner. I wanted a usb, not another car charger, because my car only has 1 charging port and I wanted to have the option to charge multiple things at once. My Garmin is several years old, so it has about 30sec of battery power, so it needs to be plugged in for continuous use.I wanted a right angled mini-usb end, like the original charger, so it would lay nicely when mounted on the windshield. It turns out, this cord angles towards the driver (the original angles away), but I've been able to loop it back towards the passenger, and it's not that big of a deal anyway.Be advised, this is a data cable, not a charging cable, so while it does charge just fine, it also takes about 10 sec each time it's plugged in to attempt to find a computer before it allows access to the Garmin's screen. If anyone's curious, I plug it into this:http://www.amazon.com/ACEPower-Portable-Charger-Android-Devices/dp/B00H26JR4A

Perfect cable for my dashcam
I have a dashcam in my car, and it uses a mini-USB connector to deliver power to the dashcam from the car. It came with a cable, wired to a DC adapter that plugs into the "accessory port" in cars today (formerly known as the "cigarette lighter" outlet). I purchased this cable to replace the cable provided with the dashcam. This cable is a major step up from the one provided with the dashcam. First, it allows me to connect directly to one of my available USB charging ports on my dash, so that I don't have to tie up the accessory port. Second, the mini-USB connector is angled at 90 degrees, in the correct direction so that the cable fits low profile across the top of the dashcam and runs to the right side, toward my USB charge ports below. Third, this 6-foot cable is only slightly too long to run down to the port on my dash, versus the original cable provided which is at least 10 feet long.I've used this cable for a year now with no issues, in hot and cold temps. My dashcam comes on every time I get in the car, and it saved my tail last October when a kid rear-ended my car at 40MPH and totaled four cars, including mine. The camera survived the impact and the cable delivered power to capture the whole accident and moments after. This is an excellent upgrade, BUT make sure you purchase the correct facing elbow connector, because there are left- and right-angle connectors.

Perfect. Went for when you only need a few inches of cord
Cord works great for where I wanted to locate something. I only needed about 3 to 5 in of cord really. I only needed about 2 in but this was the smallest I could find and for where I was putting the item it works great. The cord is small enough that it's tucked out of the way and out of type. Well the item is still able to be used
