CURT 13443 Class 3 Trailer Hitch, 2-Inch Receiver, Fits Select Toyota Land Cruiser, Lexus LX470, GLOSS BLACK POWDER COAT

Unfortunately I ignored the reviews saying the bolt holes do not line up with those on the frame of the Land Cruiser. Not only did the holes not line up, I did not see how bending the receiver would help. I called the Curt support line, but the man that handled the call not only had no help to offer, he had no sympathy to the situation. He said that their manufacturing is perfect, and that the hitch must have been dropped in shipping. He had no better idea as how or where to order the receiver in order to avoid a "bent" receiver. I returned the item.

Well built. Not true square had to bang it into shape to fit. One screw hole was not correct2002 lx470

well made. the muffler cutout worked fine; no mods to my SUV needed to be made.

This took some work to get on. Definitely make sure to look at other reviews. We almost returned it because we couldn’t install it and reading other reviews saved us.

1999 Lexus LX470 (a Toyota Land Cruiser) not able to align bolt pattern on this hitch to the weld nuts on my frame - had to take this hitch to a hitch shop and have them manhandle it in place. The first thing the hitch shop employee said to me was "the bolt holes didn't line up, did they"? Seems well made - decent welds, but take a look online - many folks with various Curt hitches have had similar problems. I question their Quality Control.

Not secured in jig properly prior to welding. Mounting holes close, but not close enough to insert bolts. Returned.

Purchased for a 2001 LX470. The bolt holes were NOT aligned. The width of the bar flared so there was no equal distance to span the frame. Required drilling extra holes and elongating out ALL existing holes in order to make it fit. PITA. I do not recommend for this application…. With that said now that’s it’s mounted it serves its purpose.

It didnt line up with the frame bolts on a 2004 LX470. I returned it.
