Light switch does not work
3 of the 6 order do not work. Attempted to repair light pole with items. Looks and fits good however does not operate as described. Waste of money. Did not need to use item until after return date had passed so I have six pieces of trash to dispose of.

Sensor./switch works as advertized
A great dusk to dawn switch with a quirk.First, note the size of the switch. It is a bit large to fit in most fixtures, so if you are hoping to mount it in the lamp fixture, that may be a deal breaker. I mounted one of these in a cover plate, and I mounted another next to a lamp fixture where it is not obtrusive. But I was fortunate to have such locations. I have other switches that I'd like to use, but I need to think of where I can mount them. The quirk is, after you power the switch up, there is a 20-30 minute delay before the switch closes, even if it is dark. So if you wire this up and want to test it, you have to figure in the 30 minute delay. It also means that if you wire it after the light switch, that there will be a 20-30 minute delay for the light to come on after you throw the switch. So I wired mine before the switch. Now if I turn the switch on when it's dark, it turns right on.You need to drill about an 11/16 inch diameter hole to mount the sensor, and it needs to either be inside an approved fixture or an approved utility box. Fortunately I had a couple of utility boxes and some Romex in my junk drawer so it was relatively easy to mount these sensor/switches remotely.I have a large property at the edge of the city and I have a lot of outside lights and a lot of solar power and the need for security, so I am wiring up almost all of my lights for dawn to dusk.

These are JUNK
Junk!!! None of the 6 work!! They are not worth 1 star!!! If you tap on the fixture it will work, when the lights go off at Dawn, you have to tap on the fixture again.

Works dusk to dawn on my pole lamp
The media could not be loaded. Wanted a way to automate this outdoor lamp. I couldn’t use a switch timer because the switch is in a 4 position gang box so I didn’t want to get into that. This is the solution that I chose to ensure that the lamp is on at night when ever I enter or leave the property at night.Working great for me. Easy to wire up. No setting or adjustment. Just wire it in and secure it into the large drilled hole that you will have to make. If I recall it was like 9/16, but can’t absolutely recall. No matter what time I come back to the house at night, my light is on. Not effected by daylight savings, no adjustment required. Light is on when ever it is dark. That’s it.Now I’m looking for more applications for the other 5 pieces.

To test, cover the photo cell for 1-3 minutes
The first one worked for me. I’ll test the other 5 soon.To avoid flickering when the sun goes behind the clouds and during dusk, pretty much every photo cell these days has a 1-3 minute delay. So, after you install, you have to cover the photocell for 1-3 minutes to test it. That’s probably why people report them as broken; they only cover the photo cell for 15-30 seconds. That’s not enough. Do it for 10 minutes before you decide it’s broken. They are brand new and are just standard photo cells but at a great price. No reason that they won’t work.

Great seller
Working as advertised

Don't buy.
Purchase 2 packs of 6 of these photo cells in April of 2024 tried 3 of them trying to replace a bad photo cell. All three were defective. I wasn't going to invest the time to try any more. I bought another brand at a home center it worked right off. I tried contacting the vendor with no response. I would suggest not buy this photo cell.
