Worked perfectly!
Bought this fob for a 2018 Malibu LS I recently bought. It only had 1 fob with it. I followed the procedure in my car’s manual for programming fobs if you don’t have 2 fobs. It does take the full 30 mins so make sure you have time. I was worried since it deletes the only programmed fob I had from the cars system. You add it back in the next step and add the new one. It was a longer procedure, but completely doable for anyone to do themselves. Now I still have to get the hideaway key in the fob cut for the door. *note just make sure you put your vehicle make, model, & year in so you get the correct fob.

Replacement for fob that broke
Fobs are so expensive and breaking one is a nightmare. This was the exact one I needed and the cost was so reasonable. It does list a website to program the fob but I’m not comfortable doing that. If you mess one thing up will your car not start. So will be taking it to the dealer to program

Works!
I had the key but lost the fob. I was skeptical but the fob programmed just like the website video on the package said. Remember that this product has a blank key so if you don’t have a key you’ll need to get this blank laser cut first because to program the fob you need to pop the cap off the door lock and insert the key into the door lock to start the programming process. Make sure you give yourself 30 minutes from start to finish to program the new fob.

Key fob is a failure
I took this key fob to be programmed this key fob does not work. Don’t waste your money. This is probably a scam. I rated it with 1 star but it should be NO star!!!

Programing
Dealership will tell you that they would not be able to program non original key. They say that they will try if you pay them shop time but no guarantee. I took to local locksmith. They warned me that he could not guarantee success. Charge was less then half of Dealership. Locksmith programed key and cut emergency key with no problems
