Versatile and Reliable Torch for Every Task
The Sondiko butane torch is an absolute game-changer! I bought it primarily for kitchen use, like caramelizing crème brûlée and roasting peppers, but it has proven to be incredibly versatile. I’ve used it for DIY projects, lighting candles, and even soldering small items. The build quality is excellent. It feels solid in hand, and the flame control dial lets you adjust the size and intensity of the flame with precision. The ignition system works flawlessly, lighting on the first click every time. Refilling the torch with butane is simple, and it holds a good amount of fuel, so I don’t need to refill it often. One feature I particularly like is the safety lock—it’s reassuring to know I can store it securely without worrying about accidental ignition. Whether you’re a chef, a DIY enthusiast, or just need a reliable torch around the house, the Sondiko butane torch is worth every penny. Highly recommend!Let me know if you’d like to customize it further!

Smooth trigger igntion
The trigger is an amazing addition I never knew I needed, a great design! Just buy this thing. Good flame control. It has a little viewing window for the fuel, so you know when its almost out.Decent size, worked l for everything I have needed so far. I wouldn't use it to solder copper pipe, but it works great for heating things up around the house or starting the grill!

Great Small Torch!
Very nice torch for small work. No leaks, build quality is very good. Price is very good for what you get.I purchased this for working on mechanical items in the shop and garage. Quick and handy if I need some heat for a backyard project. I have a MIG torch, TIG welder, acetylene “B” tank, and oxy-acetylene torch. Not always easier to set them up. This unit is for quick heat where I need it, such as heating small bolts, melting poly cord, etc. easier than hooking up the oxy for quick jobs. Good for soldering and sweating small copper tubing.I’m impressed, and may buy another.

Great do it all torch
Torch is pretty nice. Filling it is pretty straightforward. Not any different than refilling a lighter. So far it works fine. Have used it in the kitchen so far without any difficulties. Look forward to getting to use this for all sorts of tasks. The one issue I did have is at the very lowest setting it doesn't seem to work very well.

Works well. Travels well.
I carry this with me in my job in prosthetics and orthotics. It’s hot so I have to be extra careful when overheating. The size fits well in my pack. I bought butane with it because it does not come with any. I presume due to Hazmat regulations. I like the guard it comes with over the trigger so it does not inadvertently emit gases. Handle is the width of my hand so it handles well. Thank you!!

It works well enough for my purposes
My only complaint with this butane torch is the fuel flow control is finicky. I can put it on low and it will either ignite with a long (sometimes short) torch flame or not at all. It is just very inconsistent igniting the torch from either (+/-) extreme setting on the flow control. If you ignite the torch with the flow setting in the middle it will reliably ignite most of the time, then you can adjust the flame more or less after it ignites.I use this torch for installing heat shrink tubing in mostly automotive wiring and other DIY electronic projects. I keep it with my portable soldering setup in a DeWalt 10 bin stackable storage case to keep everything organized.I love that the torch has a fluid-level sight gauge and a removable safety lock that works well when I store it away, but can be removed when I use it throughout the day to keep my sanity while working. I only use high quality 99% pure or 14x refined/filtered butane fuel from either Vector or Colibri brands (available at your local vape shops or here on Amazon) to make sure that my torch will last a long time. If you use cheaper run of the mill butane from your local big box store or gas station, then you will be lucky to get x3 filtered butane. Eventually, your torch will get clogged/gummed up and you will likely have to buy a new one. Do your research, using high quality butane will eliminate most of your struggles (plus most of the good butane includes those plastic refill adapters that this torch included). I did not need to use any plastic refill adapters with this torch, so I suspect those are only necessary if you are using poor quality butane that doesnt have the longer refill nozzle.I also use butane soldering irons which are basically a butane torch with a catalyst and soldering tips w/adapters... this experience is why I know how important it is to use high quality butane. Just because a butane says its high quality, doesn't mean anything... make sure it is either 99% pure refined/filtered butane or that it is refined/filtered more than x3. If the butane doesn't state these details, then stay away from it.The torch flame at its smallest is about 1 inch in length and maybe 2.5-3 inches at max flow. I mostly use it at the lower flow settings for my work, but it's nice to see that the flame has more than enough upper range for other potential purposes. The torch is very light weight, and is made mostly of plastic with an aluminum cylinder grip that protects the clear plastic butane tank. I don't know how durable it would be if it was dropped on a concrete floor, but I would avoid doing that if you want it to be reliable.I have another butane soldering iron/torch from Lexivon that has a butane tank made from aluminum with a rubber overgrip that feels a bit more durable in my hand and has a more consistent ignition & butane flow control, but has a frustrating safety lock that gets annoying real quick on a long soldering/heatshrink job. So prefer to use this Sondiko torch exclusively for heatshrink work and a battery operated pine64 pinecil soldering iron for soldering work. My Lexivon butane soldering iron is strickly reserved as a backup soldering/heatshrink solution.

The best lighter
Really cool product. Easy to fill, and works very well in the wind. I’m going to order a couple of extras to stash in my tool box and camp trailer. It’ll be awesome for lighting fireworks on the 4th.
