WOW. When I received this book I skimmed it and within the first 20 pages of skimming I knew I had a winner. If I could give this book 110% I would. I devoured it and am making the changes as suggested. Obviously your company will not change just by reading this book, but this is a blueprint for your construction business success. A large part of it is relevant to other types of business also.If you are asking yourself "Should I buy this book?" then I can give you the answer. It is YES. Even if it costs $ 300.Just remember. It is a book that will change your company if you do what he instructs you to do.And by the way, George did NOT pay me to write this review.

It includes all the checklists, templates, steps, systems and processes to become a "Best In Class" contractor. Includes formulas to calculate your markup, overhead, profit, labor rates, and change order rates. Plus examples and forms to develop your job start-up checklists, meeting agendas, project management systems, and field reports. Enjoy the process and make more money!

I have been running my business for 5 years and have made many mistakes described in the book Get Your Construction Business to Always Make a Profit. George Hedley’s book is a wake-up call to change my business for the better. I look forward to implementing the excellent real world examples on how to successfully run my business clearly outlined this book.

Written like a radio commercial for a monster truck show, this books tries actually yell at you across the paper. What’s worse is the ideas in it are so childishly bad that they aren’t of any help. This is basically a book that tries to pump you up like a guy at the gym by repeating business “adages” to you without any real context or material value.

George is great at giving you real world advice that you can implement in your own business. If you want to make more money and take control of your business, this is the book for you! After implementing several of George's simple systems, our construction company has thrived in several market conditions.

You have got to make a profit and have freedom, if you don't go get a job working for someone else, at least you will get a check. George has helped my business keep track and plan on profits. Get this book and get started running your business like a business.

I bought this book for my husband, and he read it right away and had nothing but good to say about it. He has already recommended it to several people.

Ill start by, its annoying when author use short term to describe some. It got old how many times the author uses the word “Biz”. Also, he did not bring anything new to the world of business, most importantly nothing new to the construction world. Its a waste of time and money to read this boom.
