Delicious Recipes
This book is full of very tasty recipes. The spices in the recipes are perfect. If you don't like your food too spicy, you can simply omit the chilis and spices that lean toward the hotter side. I have made several of the recipes and my entire family loved them all. These recipes are healthy too.

Great book for those already familiar with Indian cooking
I happen to think this is a fabulous, well put together book. But I’m only giving it four stars however, because it’s not for a beginner of cooking Indian cuisine, and nowhere does the listing allude to that. For example user may be directed to use a certain Indian cooking vessel without any explanation of what it even is, or what would make an adequate substitute. Some commentary of spices and flavors would be good. It would be completely overwhelming if I were not already familiar. A lot of people have been unhappy with the lack of photographs and it’s true there are none and a few definitely would be more appealing, but I don’t think any cookbook has a photograph of every single recipe as that is quite expensive to produce. So great book but only if you already know what you’re doing with Indian cooking.

Want to eat good? Get this book!
This cookbook has been amazing for me! I recently changed to a vegan diet and finding new recipes for food I already love has made things that much easier. I’ve tried at least 10-15 recipes from this book and so far all of them have been great. 10/10 recommend.

A perfect handy cook book for vegan Indian recipes made simple so anyone can make it
The below review is done by my wife. She received an advance copy of the book for review -The book has a nice compilation of variety of vegetarian cuisines from different parts of India. It’s a great beginner book for those interested in getting into cooking Indian food. The instructions are simple and easy to follow. The key to Indian cooking is the proportion of the ‘masalas’ (spices) used and the right mix can really create great flavors even for the most simple recipe. That’s why this is a great handy book for those who don’t have much experience with cooking Indian food as all you have to do is follow the details in the book to create delicious Indian meals. The author has put in efforts to provide details on meat and dairy substitutes for Vegan users, basic tips on Indian cooking techniques to enhance flavors and list of spices to stock up in pantry. She has provided detailed descriptions of common spices/ ingredients used with some common knowledge that guides the users on what would be healthy for their diet. The book covers a little bit on every aspect of cooking.I also like how the author has added a bit of a history /background to each of the recipes. It makes the book more fun.

Not for someone who likes pictures of their recipes
The recipes are fine but if you’re like me and like lots of photos in a cookbook then I would select a different option.

One Stop Shop for Easy Vegan Indian Recipes
I received an advanced copy of this book for a review. This book covers various aspects of Indian cooking and also provides a good mix of recipes from different regions of the country.Indian recipes can seem intimidating because of the number of spices and ingredients needed for each recipe, but this book does a fantastic job of breaking down each step and further explaining it in detail. It also provides tips and tricks to work your way around a recipe. It's a great book for beginners as it lays the foundation to Indian cooking methods and techniques in simple terms. I have been cooking various cuisines for some time now, but I haven't tried substituting dairy and meats with plant-based ingredients, so I am pretty excited to get a copy of this book and try my hand at these scrumptious healthy vegan recipes.
