Bought for a ryobi gas trimmer. Air filter fit, fuel lines fit, no leaks. The carb works great. Followed the starting instructions and it fired right up first pull. Really wish it had adjustment screws, it’s a little lean at full throttle. Might even be a tad lean at idle as well. Had to use choke for a hot restart or you could pull and pull with no sign of life. Using the blower attachment I had to set it to half choke to bring the rpms up where they should have been. Otherwise good working carb and good piece of kit.

A friend found a Ryobi weed eater in a dumpster and brought it to me to fix up. I cleaned the carb and it ran fine for a while, then intermittently, then one day not at all. The metering diaphragm inside the carburetor was torn. The diaphragm alone is under $10 but I found this and decided it was worth the extra few bucks to replace the entire carburetor, fuel lines, fuel pump, air filter, and spark plug. And, YES, it was definitely worth it. Plus, I have extra fuel lines, a choke bulb and a fuel pump - just in case. Weed eater runs like new!

After 2 carbs that said they fit, but didn't, this one went on easy and restored my Ryobi S430 to like new operation. Could not ask for more.

Good quality and easy installation. Only issue is I had to use old gasket due to new one not being the same .

My old 2 cycle gas weedeater would not start and has not run in 5 years or more it made me sad. I had a yard service mow our yard but I was never happy with the price they charged. When the cost went up to $85 I decided it was time to get my weedeater going and buy a lawnmower.I tried carburetor cleaners, starter fluids, compressed air, nothing seemed to work my hopes were dashed. I did not want to buy another weedeater. I just wanted to fix mine. I don’t like corded or battery power to work on my yard. Gas or nothing for me.I talked to an old coworker who knows small engine repair. I told him about my issues with the weedeater and he said to just replace the carburetor. I found this kit on Amazon. It fit the bill so I ordered it. Could it make my dreams come true?It did not take long for the kit to arrive and fulfill my dreams of internal combustion weedeating. The kid held everything I needed. It did not take long before I replaced the Carburetor the fuel tubes, gaskets, and filters, all of which came in the kit.This was the point where it got touchy. I was not sure if it would start or not. Would my dreams be dashed? I could not stand the thought, but I was committed at this point, no turning back now.Carefully I added 2 cycle engine oil to a fresh one gallon can of gas and mixed it per the instructions. I then slowly added the gas to the weedeater gas tank and primed the carburetor. To my glee, it started after a couple of pulls. Nothing like the sound of gas power yard equipment. Ggggrrrr!!!!!!! Without skipping a beat, I decided to put it to use and trimmed my yard and edged it. My dreams came true and this kit made it happen. Oh Happy Day!!So if your weedeater ont start and you are feeling emasculated as a man because of the folly, get this kit. It is magical and will bring you a feeling of success when you fix your own weedeater. You will not feel like a helpless chump having some one repair it for you or having some one else mow your yard.The only thing I wish is that it was delivered by Sparklefarts the Unicorn.

Initially solved my carburetor problem and Ryobi trimmer ran great after slight carburetor adjustment. After two uses I’m getting air in fuel lines and they leak at the carburetor connection.
