Not quite what we thought they were

The media could not be loaded. I was really excited to get this item. Only for it to arrive damaged. One of the plates was dented very badly. I am really disappointed with this.

I like the scales but only thing was there was no presentation box

Unlike electronic digital scales, this little device truly works, is totally reliable and can be seen to be accurate with even the tiniest weights. I have no idea if the supplied brass weights actually weigh what they say, but certainly the 2 2’s plus the 1 weigh the same as the 5 and that’s all we need. I bought this to mix very small amounts of epoxy and hardener by weight ratio and it will be perfect for that job.

The item is nice balance seems ok BUT NO GIFT BOX arrived on a piece of card wrapped in plastic, then wrapped on foam sellotaped together.So if you want it as a gift don’t bother, unless you want to pay out for a box

It didn't come in a box like it states it does & it was coverd I glue I had to wash it

The scales came in a package that made the item completely sticky..None of the weights are correct..The scale is completely off balance..Waste of money.

This is nothing like what is photographed, it is old and rusty/tarnished, it's tiny and the base does not have the holes for the weights which are in a disgusting state and are not the weight they should be! Also it does not come in a box!

Seems like the brass is poorly crafted on, it seems very chinese cheap packaging. instantly broke trying to stand it up on my mothers birthday she wanted a libra scale, and i am having it replaced... so far i'm kinda disapointed its so small, i wish i had check the dimensions of size and made a mental refrence somehow because this thing is kinda tiny. More importantly 1 of the weights could not be removed for use from the base... i would've had to remold/shape the brass... or just return it and buy another manufacturer's version since there is dozens on amazon... so i'll be back to fix my review IF THE REPLACEMENT WORKS...if not, i laugh at anyone who made my mistake. meaning, if you can read this... don't be a fool.

I didn’t expect this to be quite so small...but it still worked out in the display that i needed it for. I took a picture with a dime on it just to give a sense of how minuscule it really is!

Have wanted this type of scale for the basic attractiveness of the design. Got that, but I won't use it for much in trying to weigh things. For the price I really didn't expect much that I could use, say, in commerce, but it is really appealing and worth the money and more since it is so cute sitting there.
