Great consistant product
When I first got my espresso machine and small roaster 3 years ago i experimented with many different brands of unroasted beans. I kept a coffee diary and sent home roasted coffee to the west coasts to my daughters as gifts. Life is busy and I soon settled on this brand and have used it ever since. No more experiments. Just good espresso every time with a consistent roast and grind. My Seattle and California families agree and they can buy good roasted coffee locally. Finally last year I told them I got through Amazon or direct from company and they were shocked

Strictly hard beans is the way to go!!
These beans are very good. I read the reviews about it not being bitter and I can say that that is definitely the case! I purchased the strictly hard beans. The price is pretty steep but after researching this type of bean and I would say it is worth it. Makes the best coffee/latte!!

Superb coffee choice
If you like coffee from Guatemala you will absolutely love this single source bean. Full body with awesome undertones of chocolate. Personally I like this roasted dark and pulled when it's into its second crack just as the bean begins to shine with oil. I have paid more for a bean of less quality. 5 ⭐

Shipment issue
Other than the product being great. It plastic bag that it came with ripped during shipping. When I opened it there were beans everywhere. Wasn't too helpful since I have a dog, and coffee beans are toxic to them. But otherwords great product, super happy with it and the price

Very very good
This is excellent. I just recently got a Gene Cafe roaster so I am buying all sorts of green beans. There are many online retailers but they all charge shipping. With Prime I can avoid that extra expense. This is a very well balanced and full bodied cup of coffee. So far I have taken it to a medium/city roast and it has been super good. I may experiment with taking it darker.

GREAT! My new go-to bean!
I’ve roasted for about a year now and have tried 6 different suppliers. This is my favorite and I’ve ordered almost 50lbs now. ALL were consistently great. I roast with an SR800 and roast to medium or city roast - ~2 min past 1st crack. Great chocolaty buttery taste. Smells delish! Recently in the hospital, I had to order a light roast at a lobby Starbucks. I just have to say … mine was better! ;)

A very clean and flavorful cup of coffee!!
Just roasted a batch and normally I wait a few days to brew to allow the bean to off-gas, settle in and so forth. But I thought, what the heck let’s do this! I did a pour over of your Guatemala right out of the roaster and it is delicious!!! I’ve never had a perfectly balanced cup right out of the roaster before. Normally there is some sort of nuanced flavor that, after allowing the coffee beans time to rest, will change and taste more appealing (although I love all the odd nuanced earthy/grassy flavors anyway so I’m not saying it’s a bad thing). But your coffee right out the roaster was absolutely perfect!! I hope you’re taking good care of these farmers because they deserve it. Good job guys! I’ll be buying more of this stuff for sure!!

My new GO TO coffee for ROASTING
New at roasting my own but will NEVER go back to regular coffee. Learned how to NOT set the fire alarm off....and get the perfect roast. The first time my man tried to roast a batch (early AM, running out the door to work), it was an epic fail -- I thought there was an electrical fire before I saw the mess....DO NOT GIVE UP on roasting your own! Medium roast was amazing, dark roast a bit more challenging with the smoke! Watched a few youtube videos and a wire strainer works best to blow off the chaff. Might even invest in some more professional tools.Understanding Degassing: Is Fresh Best? - Fellow[Search domain fellowproducts.com/blogs/learn/understanding-degassing-is-fresh-best] https://fellowproducts.com/blogs/learn/understanding-degassing-is-fresh-bestWhen coffee is roasted, gases form inside the bean. After roasting, gases (mostly carbon dioxide) start seeping out. When coffee is a few days old and very fresh, a bulk of the carbon dioxide formed leaves your beans. During this time, CO2 escapes so quickly it negatively affects the flavor of your coffee by creating an uneven extraction.
