Fenix PD35 v3.0 Rechargeable Tactical Flashlight, 1700 Lumens EDC with Battery and LumenTac Organizer (Black)

The media could not be loaded. I've owned this for a couple years now. I don't carry this on me everyday. My only gripe with this is the pocket clip sits so low on the body that a good 1 inch or so sticks out. I would assume this is for tactical reasons to be able to draw your light quickly, but for everyday use it feels more secure with a deep carry clip sitting lower in the pocket. I used to carry the Fenix ld30 because of that, but I've since lost two of those and have a pd25r on the way to carry everyday. Fenix is my favorite brand and I will continue buying those for everyday carry for as long as I live. It's got more than enough settings. It has a temporary on off switch. Push the button down slightly and you can hold it for as long as you want and it'll turn off when you let go. If you want to turn it on, push the button fully it clicks and it stays on for hours. It does get very very hot and turbo mode and regular high setting. My kid left it in turbo mode for 10 minutes on the floor one day and I read the temperature and it measured 143° at the front. The low setting is what I use the most because the beam is so concentrated. The 10 lumens is plenty good enough for what I need. When I need a little more throw I can change it to medium and that's plenty enough to light something 30 yd away or more. I do like that it has memory mode so it will turn back on to the last setting that you changed it to no having to cycle through settings from high to low or low to high like other flashlights to get what you want . This light is always the one sitting on the counter for me to use so I do use it daily and my kid plays with it quite a bit. It has held up just fine and still looks brand new. I've dropped it a couple times and it hasn't broken yet. I highly recommend Fenix flashlights. The three that I've owned have been amazing and as mentioned I will keep buying more and more

This flashlight is incredibly bright at its brightest settings. Brightness levels go from "dim" to "holy crap" on a rough lumen scale. The battery lasts forever. I use it nightly to walk the dogs (30-60 minutes daily) and charge the flashlight maybe every 3 or 4 MONTHS. It is well-made, solid, and durable - I have dropped it on a rough blacktop road while running and had it bounce along the ground for 15 feet and it keeps on functioning like a champ. Buttons are easy to press.

This was the 6th one I’ve bought. After seeing the quality, light output and battery life of the first one, I’ve bought 4 more for family members and this one for work. Fantastic light!

Ive always loved fenix products but the pd35 is the right size and brightness for my needs. I bought to use to inspect Power boilers as we deslag them and this light has held up to the use, abuse, and dust of power plants extremely well. They have done so well in face that we ordered one for each crew supervisor and have so far greatly improved job quality over larger and cheaper lights bought out of the blue hardware store.

This is an ideal EDC flashlight. The brightness is truly remarkable and clean! Initially, I had some reservations about it not having an adjustable light beam, but this flashlight doesn't need it. It has an ultra-focused bright center beam and has excellent floodlighting as well. You really can't ask for better. My single issue with the light is how hot it gets. Yes, many other reviewers have touched on this and although it's only an issue in its brightest setting, it remains an issue. One thing I've noticed that can help rectify the problem is if you hold the flashlight along the middle-to-tail-end of the flashlight's body. It has a hyper-hot point towards the front of the battery/bulb.Excellent flashlight.

Super bright light and battery lasts a long time.

Awesome light, does get a little hot on high setting, the charge seems to last forever.

To preface this review, I almost never leave a review for things that I order. However, when I unboxed this Fenix today, I was blown away impressed. In the first use, it provided more light than I have in my entire house, and it is very durable. I have carried things like Maglites in the past, and I thought they did the deed until a friend encouraged me to get a new EDC. This will be with me to put through its paces. If it can hold up in my shop for years to come like a Maglite can, then I will definitely keep on going with the Fenix. I dig that it is rechargeable too so that I do not have to buy stock in a battery company as much as I use my gear that is on me. Get one of these if you need a great edc that is one of the most powerful flashlights I have ever seen. My only downside is that I wish I had a custom leather holster for it instead of the cheap mesh one that comes with it. The holster can be ordered, the light is what counts.
