works great
I attached mine with Velcro to the back of my iMac so I could get more USB ports out of it. I placed it so the end port aligns with the right side of the iMac for easy insertion of a USB drive. It has notably increased the computer's capacity to meet my needs--and more if I need them.In so doing, it's advisable to not overdo it by adding too many things that might cause overload or issues between data transfer and electrical extensions (low wattage things like a flat cell phone charger works well with this).I tried others that didn't work. This one has worked fine for a long time.

Good USB-C to 4 USB-3 hub
Camera Quality gets no rating as this is not a camera (who puts these outlines together, anyway). I wanted a way to expand my high speed USB 3 connections on the USB -C connection on my no-so-portable HP mobile workstation (the mobile concept is a leap of faith). Anyway the HP is a great computer and I have a lot of extra do-dads that I hook up to it and this hub has served the purpose. Mainly I have external SSD drives which are segregated for different functions and that way I can keep my work in different compartments without cluttering my hard drive. The SSD speed plus the USB-C interface makes working off an external drive nearly the same as working directly off the internal hard drive of the computer (which is also SSD). Anyway it suits my needs and after more than 6 months I am still quite happy with the hub's performance.

Needed for Apple Superdrive on Macbook Pro
This adapter is the second type I tried. worked great with a thumb drive, but also wouldn't work on my Macbook Pro with Apple Superdrive, which is what I needed it for. Kept getting a popup window saying "USB needs power". Apple support told me I need an "Apple" adapter - we'll see!

Works great, looks good
I use it on my work laptop and it functions so much better then using up all my USB built in ports. Use it almost like a docking station.

Works great with my Lenovo P15
It’s great. My new Lenovo P15 only has 2 Regular USB connectors and many of my peripherals require them. This turned one of the extra lighting ports into 4 of them. It was recognized automatically.

Interim Problem Solver
I have yet to find a laptop so I purchased this so I could plug my keyboard and mouse into my Fire Tablet 10+ (2021 version). Works beautifully. Very well made.
