Great and it works!
We have a brother/sister pair of cats who shed like it's their full time job. The girl cat is 8.5 lbs and rather petite, and the boy cat is a beefy 13 lbs. We were getting tired of encountering "fur-cigars" every morning from one or both of them, so we thought to start them on a hairball treatment. After all, it can't be comfortable horking up that junk.We tried this formula - and my goodness, the cats LOVE it. We didn't go with the short-term high-dosage direction, but rather with the maintenance dose. That means we give each of them 1 chew in the morning and one in the evening, and allowed this chew to replace some of their other treats. In the month that we've been using this product, we haven't seen a single hairball, and it doesn't seem to be affecting them negatively in other ways. They still poop well, eat well, and it doesn't seem to be giving them any GI issues. The only thing I would suggest is that if your cat is smaller / petite, or if your beefier cat decides to inhale everything like a furry hoover, you might want to break the chew up into multiple pieces. I worry that they might not chew it well enough and get it stuck in their throat. The side benefit is that they think you're giving them multiple treats!Bottom line: excellent value for the money, the furbabies love the taste, it doesn't seem to harm them, and we are furball free in our house!

DISCLAIMER: I didn't eat these!
This is the only hairball remedy my cat will accept. It seems to work as a preventative treatment for hairballs.I based my five star flavor rating my cat's reaction ONLY. I haven't yet tried these yet because it's the holidays and "PUMPKIN SPICE" flavor isn't available.Looking at YOU, Pet Naturals!

Work great!
These work great for my cat! I have a long haired cat who was constantly "giving back" her food every time she ate. Started giving her the recommended amount of these and her hairball episodes have ALMOST disappeared! I'd say once a week from multiple times a day. My only complaint is much like everything else these days i feel they are over priced for the amount in the package, BUT still less expensive than a vet bill!

It works
Even the vet called my cat a drama queen when she passed a hairball... So that was something we are doing our best to avoid. Aside from that, without these, she was coughing up hairballs about once a month. With these, we're at 6 months or more and it's very little. I give one per day, and she doesn't give me any trouble eating it. I know of 5 cats that have successfully eaten these with no problems. I used to get the smaller bag (so they were fresher), but then the price went up by 50% seemingly overnight, so I decided to try the bigger (better value) bag. These are same dosage, but flatter and wider. She seems to like it better and ingest it easier. So far I haven't noticed a liss of freshness. I hope the cost is under control, but at least I'm paying for something that works.

Cat wont eat them, waste of money
The media could not be loaded. These treats are rather large. I'd describe the texture of them as crumbly (not crunchy, but definitely not soft.)I put one down, she sniffed it, put it into her mouth, and then spit it out. Thinking they were just too big, I broke it in half, then half again (because as I said, these are rather large) and she just sniffed it and looked at me. I tried to trick her by putting down other treats she likes mixed in with the broken up pieces of hairball treats, but she's too smart for that. She picked out her other treats, and would just spit out the hairball treat if she accidentally put one of those in her mouth. Then she just tried to "cover up" the rest of the treats when she was done.... Since that didn’t work, I crushed them into a fine powder and mixed it into her wet food... she took one sniff of her food and wouldn’t touch it. No matter what I did, she wouldn’t eat these treats.I've been trying to find an alternative hairball treat to the "Purina Pro Plan Hairball Remedy Chews" since they discontinued them (she absolutely loved the taste of those and they actually managed her hairballs, she's a longhair) but I guess these aren't gonna do!I'm looking for the treat to 1. Not be a ridiculous serving amount (Like, 14 treats per day) and 2. Taste good enough for her to eat!So back to square one...

Very hard
My cats used to like these and they seemed to help with hairballs but my cats have had dental work and several teeth were removed. These treats are very hard and they are not able to chew them. I won’t buy them again.

Absolutely works!
We rescued a long haired cat that was in terrible shape. Permanent herpes leading to breathing issues, broken whiskers, gross and coarse feeling fur, and of course gagging from hair balls. We bought this to cover most of these issues, and added in lysine for the respiratory herpes. At first he hated the taste of these, so we mixed them in the nutrivet l-lysine container so they’d absorb the taste - he loved them! We gave him 1-2 per day, every day, for three months. He hasn’t had a hairball gagging attack in 2 months, his fur is gorgeous and supple and he shedded his thick gross coat and has a silky one now. His whiskers are super long and he’s very alert. The sneezes and snorting stopped now as well. The fact that this product has omega 3’s for coat and skin health and also works for furballs is a total game changer. We will keep purchasing this for him!*he will eat then plain now without mixing but isn’t as excited because the smell and flavor is pretty gross, mixing them in with the better treats is the way to go for picky eaters
