Acme Huxley Corner Curio Cabinet in Cherry

Bought as gift. We added lights to the top and bottom sections and it would have been nice if that had been an available option. This was an easy add on with a $15. purchase of an LED light kit. Beautiful and well made product. It did not have enough of the small tac nails for installation of to and bottom section of the back covering. Again, a simple fix by adding more tac nails. Great price for the beautiful quality of this product. Overall, we were pleased with this product.

The piece is a great size for a tight spot, but check all the parts. We got one drilled wrong that could have collapsed the entire assembly, but after a couple of calls, customer service (scan the bar code on the box for that #) was very good replacing it quickly. The directions are mainly pictures and tough to follow. READ THEM CAREFULLY and MAKE SURE you understand parts BEFORE assembling . The only parts pictured in hardware & bolts, not wood or glass, and only one of those was labled. Some wood parts are angled & two different lengths, (long on the bottom) so make sure you know which are which. We put the magnet closure on a bit differently because as shown, would have had us working upside down. The piece is a nice tight size, but a challenge to assemble, you can't be in a hurry, don't tighten til you're sure, and you'll be fine!

This has been the most difficult and annoying pain in the behind to assemble! Four days in and I'm still struggling to get things to line up properly on the base. I'm about ready to give up and just trash the whole thing

I bought two curios and had no problem putting together the first one, although it was missing screws for magnetic door stoppers. The second one was missing them, too, but that was its least problem. To start with, the verticals of the taller section were all different (as much as a quarter inch) lengths. Then, I found out that the front posts cannot be both bolted to the shelf, and I needed to elongate the holes in the shelf, to make it work. Finally, a front post of the short section featured a bulge, which I had to shave off, to allow the door to close, and still need to find a matching color to cover the unfinished wood. All that on top of one of the bases having arrived with two planks separated, whether because of insufficient gluing or a hit during transportation, or both. As a result, the second curio assembly took me the entire day. Again, the finished product looks nice but it may take one much longer than reasonably expected, to get it to work.

I ordered this corner cabinet it didn’t take a long time to get here, the way it was packaged 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽 Nothing was broken it’s cute but it just doesn’t have a light inside. It was very hard for me to assemble if it wasn’t for my husband I would have returned it thankfully to him he was able to assemble it .....sadly it has no light 😐😐😕😕

Parts should be labeled. Assembly drawings weak. Shorted wood screws to complete backing panels.

After you get it together it’s great! It’s the instructions that get you! But it is nice.

This looks great, took a little work to put together but it was worth it.
