Impressed- and here's hoping it lasts a long time!
I am impressed. It cleans well and thus far; the shocking surprise is it's relatively quiet for a vacuum. My Apple Watch reports it as about 65-67 dB with me standing right over it while it is working. Its navigation is excellent- and trust me, and right now, my house would challenge any robot vacuum's navigation. I am in the middle of moving a lot of stuff around and cleaning out things. There's just stuff and boxes all over. Yet, "Snoopy" (hey, it is white with some dark spots!) did a fantastic job getting around everything. Bottom line, it took the black dog hair off the floors and carpets and did not get stuck. It did have a couple times where it seemed to have "issues" returning to the dock- but it eventually decided it was in the right place and backed in. The clean station, as you might expect, is louder than the unit when it empties, but it's brief. For those that complained about it- I'm not sure why. It must evacuate everything that the unit picks up, and it does it well. The bag should last 2 to 3 months. I already own the Samsung BESPOKE JET plus Clean Station and it is the exact same idea. Same size bag with slightly different configuration. The bag packs in the dirt well and trust me when I say it gets a lot around this house mostly thanks to the dog hair (yes, it's that bad, and if I was allergic, I'd be dead). The only negative I can see so far- is that the main unit is a tad tall. It's not going to go fit under some lower sofas, furniture, or beds. If that's critical to you, this is not the unit for you. Plus, I still have my excellent Neato D7, which can, if it chooses to, go on the mission impossible of cleaning under beds and furniture should I need it. 😂The SmartThings app is a bit overwhelming at first, because it encompasses so many assorted products from Samsung, and other companies. If you're not techy, you'll have a bit of a learning curve and could get aggravated. You can always find someone who is tech savvy- and they can help. Part of the issue is that the app does a lot of different things- and it isn't always as intuitive as it should be. However, once you learn the design- you can navigate it well. I think Samsung would do itself a favor if they had a "simple mode" option for the app- especially if someone doesn’t own several products or it’s their first experience with the Smart Things App. I wish they’d refine the app more frequently.I view these units as the "keep it cleaner in-between" cleaner. If you have a super shedder dog like I have, it can help keep you sane. I love my dog, but shedding is his superpower. The minute you neglect to vacuum, it's EVERYWHERE. There is nothing worse than seeing dog hairs where they never should be seen. Ever. Do not ask. For me, these robot vacuums are a miracle! Yes, I liked my Neato a lot, but neato really needs to improve the dirt disposal process. It is too messy. My solution was just to use my regular vacuum to clean it out. That just became annoying. This is why the Clean Station concept is so appealing! It is so well executed by Samsung, having had such a positive experience with the Bespoke Jet- I knew pretty much the quality I was going to get. So far, I am not disappointed. If I ever am, I will update this review appropriately. 😉

Has completed more cleaning runs in two weeks than my previous bot did in 6 months.
***UPDATE***Unfortunately, I have to bump this all the way down to 1 star. Reason: After just over one year the BATTERY NO LONGER HOLDS A CHARGE. Conveniently, it's just out of warranty. I've contacted Samsung support. No service centers around (according to their map, none exist in the United States! at least, not for this robot vacuum). No replacement battery available. This extremely disappointing as this otherwise was a very reliable, albeit not quite as powerful as others, vacuum. $1,399.67 (with tax) down the drain. Unfortunately, will have to switch brands. Samsungs customer service has been VERY disappointing. And apparently, others have had the same experience.*****************(Writing from wife's account) BACKGROUND: Have had 4 of the other brand's D shaped robot vacuum before this(5 if you count the last one, D8, that was replaced in warranty. History with the last brand was very inconsistent ad FREQUENTLY frustrating.Enter the Samaung Jetbot ai+. My wife and I have said we didn't know whag we were missing bh sticking with the other botvac. This one has taken all of the drama out. Now each scheduled vacuuming day the assumption is it will complete its cleaning run. And for us this has actually been true 95% of the time. Bery happy with this purchase, altbough it's on the expensive side.PROS:- Quiet. Has a "Max", "Smart", and "Normal" suction setting. Smart adjusts based on florring and amount of dirt/dust detected. Max and normal are exactly as they sound. Usually use Smart. Will set to Max for spot cleang.- Map. You can specify it clean a room, designated spot, around furniture or appliances it has detected(ai), or the whole house.- Communication. It tells you everything it's doing, including when it recognizes an obstacle. Also, the light strip on the front not only looks cool but indicates various modes: green=charged, white=in operation, bule=home monitoring (via the camera). You also see the lihht bar animate when it's 'thinking'.- Battery. For our 1500+ square foot upper level it cleans it all in one run if on Smart suction and zig zag cleaning pattern. Otherwise it will return to base about 80% through to empty and charge.-Self emptying. Only have to worry about emptying the bag in the tower every 2-3 months.- Ai. It does recognize different objects and acts accordingly. If a cord, towel, clothes, cup, plate, etc, is on the floor it will usually recognize it and avoid. I say usually because I have observe it on occasion miss a power cord depending on how it's laying on the floor. I believe it has more to do with there being adequate light for the camera based ai more than anything. But 9/10 times it 'sees' , identifies, and reacta accordingly.CONS:- Scheduling. There seems to be no way to schedule it to clean specific rooms on certain days, even though Samsung's website says it should be able. Seems like an oversight in the app software I hope they correct soon.So far that's really the only one for us. Will update if we discover more.

I love the Vac, its going back for repairs, Warranty info is confusing.
Less than 3 months in the vac can't find the cleaning station, 3 chats and some trouble shooting over a Saturday determined it all needed to go back for repair. Two chats and an email indicated I'd get a return label that would include pickup at my door, but when I tried to sched it with UPS, I was informed that I would have to pay. A third chat again said it's included and I was give a phone number for the wrong dept to deal with it. After a transfer I was told that pickup Is NOT included, I would need to drop it off. I have a bad back, and carrying this into a store is going to be more than a bother, but I want the thing back ASAP as its painful to use my reliable Dyson. The last phone number given had to be contacted in business hours so I was too late to get a hand with it in the weekend. Mixed messaging does not instill confidence in a company I tend to trust for consumer electronics.UPDATE: 5 months after the repair was complete, my vac is working great. Just had to replace the bag in the station for the first time since it came back. A red light on the station and a message in the app let me know it was time.It runs 3 days a week for 90 minutes each time and vacs hardwood, carpet and runners all very well.I've found that if it starts go return for a charge before finishing, or if its battery runs down before it can get back to the station to charge, then it needs a cleaning of the sensor area and roller. I do this about once a month and give the dust bin a good cleaning too. I bought second filter for the dust bin so the freshly cleaned one can dry for a few days while the vac goes back to work.
