Batchelors Mushy Peas 420g (14.8oz) X 6 Pack

My British husband loves his mushy peas and we can’t get them anywhere locally. He eats them at least once a week!

Made just right, not a flavor we are used to, but truely made to eat with mashed potatoes and fish.

The cans were wrapped well in plastic and bubble wrap. Used packing paper to fill in around them. This kept the cans from receiving any damage during shipping. The expiration is Feb 2025. Definitely will purchase again.

I really enjoy this as a side dish, prepared with plenty of butter and a bit of salt and pepper. I’d always wanted to try this typical British food, often served with fish & chips I understand.

I love mushy peas. It was a little upsetting when I opened the box and every can was dented. Peas wonderful - packaged badly.

The peas came wrapped exceedingly well for shipping. We were looking forward to enjoying them when I saw the Ingredients list. It is in VERY small print on the cans, but, unfortunately, not shown in the pictures of the product on Amazon. While we were pleased to see the peas are non-GMO, we were shocked to see, among the ingredients, toxic artificial (chemical) colors: 'FD&C Yellow No. 5, and FD&C Blue No. 1'!! What a shame!Since we would never knowingly buy any foods with these artificial colors in them, we will be returning these, and hopefully find another brand. SO disappointed!
