Best strapless I’ve ever had. I disagree about the band being small though. I just got measured at Nordstrom less than a month ago so I definitely know my size. On all four 36DDD/E bras I got at Nordstrom I can only hook the first or middle hook (3 hook strap) on the 36E of this bra (5 hook strap) I’ve got it as tight as it can go and it’s JUST tight enough. I should have gotten a 34. If I lose any weight at all it will be too big.That being said, it is extremely comfortable, I wore it 6+ hours and didn’t have to adjust it or tug it up at all. Plus it’s sexy as hell.

I’m usually a 38 DDD and I read a few reviews with some people saying the band is too large or the band is too small. Other reviews said the cups are way too big. I used the sizing chart and it told me I was a G in this brand’s sizing and a 38 in the band. That’s 3 sizes larger than my usual cup size. I thought there’s NO WAY that’s right so I decided on an F hoping It’d work out. Well, the F cups DO fit but the band size is too large. It’s loose on the tightest clasp and wants to slide down so I guess I should’ve went with 36 F (or maybe even a 34-36 G). Either way the sizing chart didn’t help me and I’m usually pretty spot on with sizing IF the chart is accurate. It is a beautiful bra though and very well structured. The thick band hides any back fat rolls the usual strapless bra would create (or emphasize). I don’t feel like it would be comfortable for an extended period of time because I’m already starting to feel very uncomfortable while wearing it and writing this review. Getting the correct size might help, but can’t attest to that yet.

I followed the manufacturers sizing directions and converted my US bra size into UK size. The band was the same for both so I didn’t alter. I was really hoping this would work but sadly the band size (38) which on the tightest might have made breathing a touch labored, was a size possibly two bigger. As soon as I tried it on, tightest, it literally slid down. I need this for a bridesmaid dress. At 38G I am not ecstatic about wearing a strapless bra but was really hopeful about this one. I am returning it. Might chance getting a smaller band size. Overall though it is really pretty. The cups fit but be sure to do the size conversion.

36FF... Lane Bryant range from 34I to 36G-H... 34band was WAY to small. 36 is perfect and SNUG. It is a strapless and it is built to withstand the day. I'm not thin so by the end of the day I had one boning a little warped but this bra held up and is so FLATTERING!! I have found with all bras there is going to be placed that rub with underwire and especially boning when I have some extra weight. Still tho I made it through the day without wanting to tear it off. It is snug. It is supportive. It is full coverage. I had to return due to size then due to wrong color being sent and wrong size completely. Not sure if they kept the tax on n those returns because my refund was only the cost of their item. But worth it for this bra. Definitely a solid bra. Worth the price and built to last the day. It also helps to support the midback spinal column, with the boning you HAVE TO sit correctly or it will dig in.

There are negative reviews on this product because the sizing is off.I am a US size 42 H/G. That is what I ordered the first time around, and I was swimming in the bra, the cups were too big and folding over.When I went to return the product I looked at the description to their size guide. This is a UK based clothing company, their sizes are UK sizes. You must look at their sizing guide and convert your US size to UK.I reordered the product in the now appropriate size Which was 42F and it fits great! Now I can wear my strapless shirts without seeing the underwire pop out of the front or being squeezed to death by how tight it is. As far as strapless bras go this is very comfortable.Definitely recommend this bra.

I got a size larger than my usual size and it was way to small. I ordered a 42 DD and I could barely even clasp it. Once I was in, I found that the cups weren't large enough. The strength of the cups is nonexistent. The boning is actually rather painful in how it dug into my sternum. I would not recommend this for women with a larger/heavier chest.

I ordered my "normal" size 40DD. Cups were way too large. I subsequently ordered a 40D and it was fine. Just a note, hope it helps someone, on my senior citizen body where bustline is not up where it used to be, I think that is why I needed a smaller cup. I carry low and under my arms (I know that sounds odd). The bra is beautiful and yes you do need someone to fasten the hooks. Unhooking it was easy for me. I'll be wearing this under a mother of the groom gown this summer and do not anticipate a problem. I am short, plump and short waisted. A full size corset would have been too much (too long) and a strapless bra just doesn't work at all. Everything just stays at the waistline. The boning on this garment and the 8 hooks give just the right amount of lift and support. I had read other reviews and was expecting a torture device. This is not a torture device and it is just what this body needed. Don't hesitate to purchase.
