It freezes in the vent area

I love that it is so small! It fits well and is out of the way in our tiny house. The motor is quiet (see my video), and is just a quiet hum in the bathroom. You can collect the water in the reservoir- because we aren't there all the time, we chose to connect the included super long hose (which I cut smaller) using a tiny zip tie I already had. It runs 24/7. Our towels are no longer damp when left in the bathroom. I used to hang them from the loft for the ceiling fan to dry out.Reason 4 star instead of 5 star:The Amazon listing says it is for 480 sq ft. The paperwork with the unit says 300 sq ft. I would have returned it, but there aren't better options for my 480 sq ft home without getting a full size unit.

Update: I contacted the seller requesting a replacement hose for the unit. They sent me an entirely new unit all together. This time, the hose fit perfectly. I may have gotten a bad hose the first time. Seller was great to work with. It's much appreciated.The dehumidifier works well, however the hose it came with does not fit the drain hole. It is not a snug fit and falls right off, even without water inside of the tank. The hose opening is too wide for the unit.
