Excellent!
I broke my 5th metacarpal last week but put off going to the doctor. I'm so glad I did, because I decided yesterday to look for a splint on Amazon. Holy cow! This is perfect for the type of fracture I have, and I'm already loving it (got it an hour ago). It's keeping my fingers and hand in place so nicely. I paid a small fee to have it overnighted to me, and it was well worth it. I probably saved hundreds of dollars by not having x-rays, etc. I recommend this splint wholeheartedly!

Fantastic brace!
I fractured one of my carpal bones below my index finger and thumb. I had a choice of a hard cast or one like this (at doc office it was hundreds of dollars) and I chose this. I ordered the left brace to use on my right hand and it's perfect. It's been comfortable as far as these things go, it is well -made and easily adjustable. I love that I can bend the inner stays so the brace doesn't rub the bruised and swollen area of my break. It keeps my wrist and hand stable without hurting it. It's easy to keep clean and it has just enough padding so none of the velcro irritates your skin. I'm very happy with this purchase, though I hope I only ever use this once! Lol!

Our ortho office liked it so much they ordered some to have available ...
This product was shipped overnight for a very reasonable price by the company I purchased it from through Amazon. Our ortho office liked it so much they ordered some to have available for patients in the office. We bought this because my son broke his little finger two days before we were to leave for a family vacation at the beach and we wanted him to be able to enjoy the water - at least a little. It served its purpose very well and his hand was well protected. This was much more comfortable then the temporary splint we received at the ER. The price was very reasonable as well! While I hope we don't need it again - after 5 weeks of constant wear, it looks as good as the day we bought it.

Well made and comfortable brace!
This is very comfortable to wear when needing to wear one, Sturdy and well made. The seller was quick to respond to my questions and contacted me to ensure I knew they were there if I needed them to be.There were two things that bothered me with this brace:1. It was a bit short for my liking, it stopped just past my wrist whereas my splint that was made by my Dr went down my entire arm. I thought at first I would like the lesser length but I found it was better restricted2. The bar on the bottom of the brace kept sliding back away from the tips of my fingers towards the base which needed constant adjustingWith this being said it was very comfortable to wear compared to many other braces I've used, I would recommend to others or purchase again if needed!

Excellent, sturdy brace. Highly recommend.
Orthopedist asked where we got this so he could order them for his office. Eour doctor said it's an excellent alternative to getting a hard cast, but only if your religious about wearing it all the time....only taking off for shower. We were given this in ER for 5th metacarpal fracture. We bought 2 for my mechanic son so he would have a "dirty" one for work and a clean one for everything else.

$250+ Less than What the Ortho Charged My Insurance
My son was given a brace similar to this by the same brand by the orthopedic doctor when he broke his pinky finger. It was so much more comfortable for him to wear than the little metal splint that had to be taped on that he wouldn’t even take it off to try to exercise his finger on occasion as instructed in ordering to prevent stiffness. He was able to do so much more without pain because of it. However, his grandfather was able to convince to start removing it to exercise it. As a result, he left it behind at our friends’ house during a visit. They love 4+ hours away. Since they couldn’t initially find it (under the couch), we looked up the medical records to try to find the same one on Amazon. That’s when we realized the doctor charged our insurance over $300 for the brace. We were able to find this one which was the same brand but a little different in appearance than our original brace and around $250+ cheaper. Luckily, it was Prime, so he only had to split it for two days before we received this one in the mail.

Medical terms make this confusing
Ulna and radial? Come on, just say that this product will stabilize the index and pointer fingers on the left hand or the pinky and ring finger on your right hand. TKO Left (which is the only one Amazon has) will not help you with a left hand pinky.

As described
I broke the fourth metacarpal on my left hand and needed something that I can get on and off by myself. This is easy to use, easy to adjust, and even fits fluffy people like me. You can easily bend the metal inserts to adjust the position of your fingers. Washes well but remove the metal inserts first. Tip: Mark the inserts so you know how they go back into the brace.
