I spend a lot of time on my cell phone with my headset doing local activism. I also call folks through my laptop. I like my fingers free to type simultaneously. This dongle unit has wrapping which adds to the sturdy-ness of it. I do have a Pixel 8. The Pixel 6 dongle I had did not work with the 8 for some reason. I found this on Amazon with a nice price. As an added surprise nice touch, it comes with a semi-leather carrying case so I won't lose it. Thank You

I just received this adapter but was contacted by the seller even before it arrived, checking to make sure I was satisfied with the purchase. The adapter arrived as scheduled and is possibly even better than the pics show. It is very nice looking, and seems to be excellent quality. It came with a decent pouch to store or transport it. There is a small LED at the Lightning connector that tells you it is powered (see pic). But it’s not too bring as to be annoying if using it in bed or something like that. The sound quality is great. I just received this so I can’t comment on the long term durability, but am confident the seller would stand behind the product.

Both had a very clear buzz/hum in my IEMs when nothing was playing (I tried other earbuds too, no difference). I managed to do some fiddling with my phone to make the buzz go away (bypassing Android's native software music decoder), but I haven't tried fixing it on my PC. I have a ground loop 3.5mm device around here somewhere, and that might fix it if I ever bother to try.But it's frustrating that anything has to be done at all. I got another simple USB-C DAC with a dual charging/3.5mm input that works no problem, just plug and play, and it was only a few dollars more.Bottom line: look elsewhere for a cheap, simple USB-C DAC

I have no idea why apple keeps changing their plugs with each new iphone and ipad generation, but it gets complicated trying to figure out which adapter to use. Fortunately, this adapter works great with the newest ipads and unlike previous adapters I have purchased, this one is very good quality. It is also somewhat shinier in color to help with finding it when you set it down for some reason, which is how I have lost previous ones.

idk if its the cords fault or it just dont work well but the sound is 1985 cassette tape quality.

The cable woks exactly as I expected. I would definitely recommend if you're looking to use wired headphones.
