Sequin Art 3D, Cat, Sparkling Arts and Crafts Kit; Creative Crafts for Adults and Kids

I was skeptical when I first opened the box and saw so many pins and sequins. I thought it would take months to actually finish but by my 8 y/o girl loves it and loves how pretty the elephant looked when done.

Very nice item... Hours of FunIt took a long time to finish but the final result was wonderful.My 10 year old Daughter did a Great job with this Arts and Crafts 3D Art Kit.She Loves how Eli turned out.

My 8-year-old and I do a lot of art projects like this and she loves elephants and is quite good with her hands. So this seemed like a win win. Unfortunately, I failed to read the review that mentioned this is too difficult for kids. I would second that opinion. The tool was sharp, and she stabbed herself twice and then my husband managed to stab himself too. Then the tiny sequins that were hard to hold onto got all over our house and we're still finding them in nooks and crannies. We would have given it away to our neighbor who likes glittery, girly art projects, too, but her arthritis and eyesight are too bad for these tiny sequins and sharp pins. We threw it in the trash within 10 minutes of opening it.

An amazing product and fabulous idea!! This kept my kids busy for hours. They love to have it sitting on the shelf in their room. I love that it is 3D!!

I bought this sequined art craft for my sister to try and she thoroughly enjoyed placing the sequins on it! While the sequined cat looked bigger in the picture, it wasn’t but that’s okay, I should’ve paid closer attention to the size given on the package. Despite the size of the sequined kitten, It still is a great craft to put together!

While I will say that the final results are very pretty, this is not a craft for younger children. It requires quite a bit of patience and time. The sequins can be like glitter, they are small and end up all over the place. I bought 3 of these to work on during the school winter break. Because kids are into instant gratification, my granddaughters ages 6 and 9 grew weary of the whole project. I bought one for myself as well to work on with them, and I too, grew tired of the whole thing. The pins can hurt when you pick them up to attach the sequin. All in all, this was not for us. Too painstaking. I am still picking up the sequins Fromm the floor.

Con's: Requires some spatial drawing ability. The inside legs are a little challenging to get to.Pro's: Once I committed to the outlines I drew on to match the instructions, it was fun. The finished product didn't come out too shabby even though I really had a hard time drawing on the patterns. It was a nice activity. This is the 2nd one of these I've done. I recommend the cat, too.
