Perfect, worked and easy to install with YouTube!
I recently replaced the heater air blend door actuator in my 2010 Honda Civic with this model (part numbers 79140-SNA-A01 / 604-879), and I couldn't be more satisfied with the results. While the installation process was a bit challenging due to the tight space under the dashboard, it was manageable with some patience and the right tools. I found a helpful tutorial on YouTube that guided me through the steps, making the process smoother. The actuator fit perfectly, aligning seamlessly with the existing mounting points and connectors. After installation, the actuator immediately restored full functionality to my Civic's HVAC system. Airflow direction controls, including defrost, floor, and face vents, now operate flawlessly. The actuator responds promptly to mode changes, ensuring a comfortable cabin environment regardless of the weather. The actuator appears to be well-constructed, featuring durable materials that suggest longevity. It's designed to resist wear and electrical burnout, which gives me confidence in its long-term performance. Additionally, it comes with a one-year manufacturer warranty, providing extra peace of mind. Considering the cost of OEM parts and dealership labor, this actuator offers exceptional value. By handling the installation myself, I saved a significant amount of money without compromising on quality. It's a budget-friendly solution that doesn't skimp on performance. This heater air blend door actuator exceeded my expectations in every aspect. It restored my HVAC system's functionality, was reasonably easy to install with some guidance, and offers excellent value for the price. I highly recommend it to any 2010 Honda Civic owner experiencing similar HVAC issues.

Perfect part - Fits 2009 Honda Civic SI, and others
Worked perfect in my 2009 Honda Civic SI. At first, I had to connect it to the car and put it in defrost mode to get it in the correct position to line up. I picked up a new tube of White Lithium Grease to line the tracks with it, like the original. The original part was faulty and/or the contacts corrode. So many people have had to replace this.

Perfect replacement
Had to replace the hvac door actuator on my 2009 Honda civic since the air wasn’t switching from the front air vents to the windshield in these cold November days. I watched a nice YouTube video explaining how to replace this part and did the job myself. One week of daily use and so far so good.

Works good and looks the same 2006 Civic EX
The inner guts are completely different compared to the OEM one (I took it apart), but the outside is identical. For some reason it wasn't working properly when I first installed it. I removed it and reinstalled it and it started working properly. I used white lithium grease for the tracks. I'm fairly sure thats what the OEM had. Grease does not come included. Hope this thing lasts. Not crazy hard to remove and install, but very uncomfortable to get to the screws. I removed the glove box and the plastic under it. It made it much easier to access screws from under.

Perfect fit
My 2010 Honda civic climate control wasn’t working when trying to switch from vents to windshield defrost. I researched how to check the codes on the climate control for possible problems by watching videos. Also researched how to change the part. Bought it off of Amazon for a great price. It took about 5 minutes to install. Now everything works perfectly.

Works as expected
Part works great, installing was less than fun but then again big hands in small spaces doesn't always equal a great outcome. (aka) supporting Band-Aid company, again!

Fixed My Problem
Installation wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, though it is in a tight place. Keep that in mind. It would have been nice if it came pre greased or came with grease. So nice to have defrost again in my 8th gen civic. The module works quietly and fitment was exactly like the Honda module that it replaced. Hopefully it will last a good while
