It's a beautiful set and it came with everything shown in the picture. For the price, it's an amazing set and great for beginners like me who are wanting to get into quill writing. My only downside to this set is the pen nib base (the holder for your quill/pen). It's very nice but the flat circular indent it has on top is meant to hold the small bottle of ink. However the base given to you does not fit the ink bottle, making the base useless for holding ink on that part. I don't mind this though, particularly because I can just putting the bottle closer to me and use it that way however if this may bother you, you should look into a set with a base that has a bigger circular holder for the ink.warning: the metal spoon will become extremely hot when i use so use a paper towel or thick glove to handle the spoon.

Overall esthetically pleasing to look at, the seal stamp is beautiful, the feather quill is lovely, but the grip on it when you're writing with it can be messy and hard to get a comfortable hold on it but to be honest this is my first time trying it out. Testing out all the nibs got better with practice to use however when dipping it into the ink it makes writing a little frustrating because not even applying to much pressure too much ink spills out and the first word ends up a big blotchy mess and unlegible, the wax is in my opinion kinda stringy and the lit wick ends up burning out very quickly and have to continue relighting however the seal itself is just lovely and I'm glad it's switchable is you wanted to change out the handle or seal itself. The ink is a tad bit and doesn't fit on the quill tray and overall I just don't like the ink, the quality itself comes very low so you don't get that much ink to work with anyway but I appreciate the rubber stopper it comes with most inks won't come with one but still. The paper and envelope are a nice touch but I personally don't want to use because I think it's too cute to waste. The candle is just a simple candle.

Gave this to my adult daughter for Christmas and she loved it.

Ordered this for a young relative that is into new hobbies. When i opened it, I was disappointed in it's incomplete feeling. One PC of paper,one envelope and no instructions on the use. What's this for? What does this tip do? Is this for the ink? What angle should you hold it? So, I ordered a calligraphy workbook to go with. He did like it and use it with the book. But it's not for beginners or self explanatory.

This feather pen set looks beautiful. It comes with the feather pen, ink, sealing wax, wax stamp, a piece of paper, an envelope and additional pen tips. It is excellent for begiiners, would make a great gift or is beautiful enough to use as decoration as I did.

Oh my goodness what a beautiful little set!! Totally in love with this! The pen and ink write beautifully and the stamp handle is very pretty! I’m actually looking forward to addressing Christmas cards now! I really bought it for the wax fleur de lis seal but I’m now in love with the feather pen! Would make a great gift. Also comes in a nice sturdy box.
