It's a learning book
It is a quality made book. It's a little more difficult than I would think is a beginner book.

easy to use
my 13 year old wanted to learn to play and this book really helped her get some of the foundations down, all on her own.

It's a solid uke
The only problem I have with this set, and I did buy two sets, is the strings. I cannot get it to tune because the plastic strings are bendy and cheap and won't hold a note. The construction is solid and good and the tuner and book and everything else is adequate. It's actually a pretty nice setup but the strings are it's achilles. Plan on buying new strings if you get this.

birthday gift
my 9 year old granddaughter loved it. It was pink and came in a case. I ordered her a music lesson book to go with it. Now my other granddaughters want one too. Great deal for the money!

Perfect for kids and Adults
This book is a lot better teaching you your strumming patterns and simple songs fast. I'm an Adult trying to learn the easiest way possible. This was short and sweet.

Helpful book
I bought this for my teenage students can tinker around on ukuleles and explore in the song book. It's very easy to follow but not too immature for teen learners. I'd recommend this for any age students. I've enjoyed playing through it myself.

A very good introduction for learning the Ukulele with younger children
My daughters have just turned 4 and 6 so I wanted a very, very simple child-friendly Uke book we could use as a family. This is about as simple as it gets and while the kids are not yet truly fluent readers with adult guidance they've been able to go through it exploring the concept of frets, nots, chord and rhythms. The book therefore does exactly what I wanted. There are not that many songs in the book but they are super-familiar ones so easy to work with as everyone knows the tune.

Some Issues With Errors
Apart from turkeys saying woof-woof (?) and one cord wrong it seems so far to be a good book for very basic cord comprehension!!!

Simple yet effective. For absolute beginners.
Nice for absolute beginners. If you’ve got a bit of musical knowledge, you might want to go for something more, as you can probably learn everything in this book from the internet.I’m lazy, so liked not to research and just have it all together.Only covers four chords.

Good for adults too
My dad wanted a ukulele for his birthday, so I bought this to accompany his gift. He's not musical at all and says this boom was definitely right for his level.

Seems like a great little book!
I like the fact that it has both tab and traditional sheet music. Daughter yet to try reading either but she’s still having lots of fun with her Ukulele.
