The photo clearly show that these are the best Timothy pellets you can buy (my bunnies approve!)
No fillers or junk in these pellets. They are made out of 100%, high quality timothy hay (I think 3rd cutting, a favorite for bunnies). They are a rich deep meadowy green, finely ground, tightly pressed into awesome, super long pellets. They are truly the best Timothy hay pellets you can buy. They are worth every single penny. When I first found these pellets, my bunnies made it clear that they love them, and are now so spoiled, they hate all other pellets. Every other brand they tried, they hated. When these pellets were unavailable for a short time, my bunnies practically revolted against me, teaming up to war against the lack of their favorite snack. They refused any other pellets, and the photos show exactly why. I was worried the VF pellets wouldn't come back in stock, that I even wrote to Viking Farmer, via their website, to inquire if they'd come back. When the listing 1st came back on Amazon, I immediately put in a pre-order for several bags! My bunnies are rejoicing. Peace has been restored. My bunnies are on a special diet, mostly fresh fancy salads and hay, so I am keenly aware of what they can eat. I have an elderly dutchie bunny with a delicate stomach, and she gets pellets as a treat. All pet store pellets/treats are awful and unhealthy for bunnies, containing soy/wheat/molasses that are terrible for bunny tummies. Even amongst 100% hay pellets (like Exotic Nutrition), Viking Farmer pellets are above and beyond high quality. I absolutely love these pellets, and plan to stock up on several more bags to keep my bunnies happy (and non-warring).Seriously, these pellets are fricken awesome. Your pets won't be disappointed, and you can feed them knowing these pellets are 100% high quality Timothy hay. They don't sponsor me in any way or asked for a review. I'm just a normal person (I guess more of a weird bunny momma) who happened upon this brand by chance on Amazon, and I am so happy they are back in stock.

Took a minute, but worth the wait!
These pellets are great for these 4 fur babies. I will say because it isn't filled with molasses and other sweeteners like they have been used to getting it took some time for them to adjust, some took to the pellets quicker than others. Two are still learning to love it. But overall it's worth being persistent knowing that this is a truly healthy option for them. Kind of like a baby eating new foods for the first time. Slowly introduce this and with consistency in offering it to them they will learn to like it!😊

Tortoise hates it
When getting the dry pellets wet, it takes a little while. The wax dissolves, I drain the extra water but the pellets are still hard.Plus my tortoise hates it, she won’t eat it

Thank you, Viking Farmer!!
My bunny LOVES these pellets and this is the 4th time I have purchased for him. This product had been out of stock for a long time, but fortunately I found it on sale again last month and rushed to buy it.I was a little worried because these pellets were hard like rocks, and our vet said that too hard pellets are bad for the roots of his teeth. The pellets that have been restocked this time are the best quality as they are back to the good hardness that they were when they were first sold!Even my 10 year old bunny has no problem eating them :)Thank you again, Viking Farmer for making such great pellets!I hope it will be restocked again!!

A few flaws but good product if your animal will eat
Received this yesterday and it only weighs 3.1 pounds so not a 4 pound bag. The product looks fresh and the guniea pigs seemed to like them at first. But now they won’t touch them. They are really long so they don’t work well with the automatic feeder we have. They get stuck and won’t come down the opening. Wish they were shorter so we could use with the feeder. I love that they are made in the USA but will have to find shorter ones so we can use it while on vacation. But if your just scooping in then these are perfect and I would definitely recommend. Wish our girls would eat them. We’re hoping they will eventually eat them. I’m wondering if they are to long and to hard for them to chew.

Love the new size!
Update: I haven't had an issues with the hair loss/red ears again so I am grateful for that! This is still a favorite in our house, I just wish the size was more consistent with each bag. The pellets are so big that they are a choking hazard, especially for one of my dwarf rabbits. I do try to break them up before giving them to my buns and I don't really trust them to eat this alone, unsupervised anymore. I understand some people may want larger pellets, others mat want smaller pellets so perhaps the seller can make an option of small pellets vs large pellets.I ordered this product again and I am not sure what happened, but I think my rabbit is having a good allergy to it. He has slowly losing hair on his ear and his ear turns red within 10 minutes of eating the pellets. It definitely was a transition to get the buns to eat this pellets at first as they were used to Oxbow but they love them now. I am thankful for the new small size so rabbits can easily chew these now. The larger size was a bit harder for my baby bunnies to eat. I would love it if the bag came in larger sizes too

HUGE and consistent!
I break them into smaller pieces for my 5 pound rabbit but I like them starting off consistently large - there are very few itty bitty pieces she won't eat. I feed half traditional pellets (Science Selective House Rabbit Food with no alfalfa) and half these 100% Timothy hay pellets. My rabbit is happy eating these pellets :)
