perfect for a broken toe
I searched through many of these recovery shoes. The lower height of the heal makes it easy to walk and I was able to find one of my sneakers to match the height instead of hunting for the right height platform sneaker to match. Very comfortable. Feels secure on. Lightweight.

Relief ! Easy to use . Quick delivery . Good value !
The media could not be loaded. I broke two toes ughhh and was in chronic pain bearing any weight on them , googled this boot and was in two minds as reviews were mixed . As they would deliver it overnight I took a chance ! Glad I did !! What a relief!! Foot fits snugly with the Velcro straps and walking now is not a pain, I do feel like Frankenstein walking ! But at least I’m not in pain ! For the money totally worth it . I’m a klutz so probably will get more use out of it at some point haha !

Great for Broken Toes
I broke my big toe and was looking for a way to be on my feet for work while keeping pressure off my toe. The design of this shoe does a great job keeping the majority of the pressure on the middle and back part of the foot while allowing me to walk "normally" with the way the shoe tips forward. I can hobble around in this shoe almost as fast as I typically walked before breaking my toe.My only complaint with the product is that the inside of the shoe is completely flat, meaning there was some slight pressure on my toe when I walked. I was able to easily solve this problem by chopping a cheap flip-flop to a size that allowed my toes to hang off the front. This improvised cushion fits perfectly inside the boot without sliding and allows me to walk around pain-free!Some points of information:The boot is pretty tall (especially with an added cushion). I just wear a tennis shoe on the other foot, but there is a slight height difference there. The boot is heavy! By the end of the day, my foot aches pretty badly from clomping around with the extra weight. I think it's worth it for the mobility it gives me, but fair warning for y'all! The first time you wear the boot, you'll need to cut the Velcro straps to the right length. They make the straps extra long so they can fit all different shapes of feet (and added cushions), so make sure you chop them to the length you need to avoid tripping. The bottom is pretty nice. I wasn't sure what to expect there, but I can definitely wear them outside without damaging the boot. It hasn't snowed here yet though, so I can't vouch for their usefulness in that!

Read Review for Better Ones
These run in weird sizes. For reference, I am a woman’s size 7 shoe and this was too big barely but small would have probably been too small.None are made for left or right foot, so they look really weird. The straps are a weird Velcro that doesn’t have a top or bottom. I can’t even explain this, except to say that they won’t seal properly, so you will have lint (basically anything you step on) sticking to the soft Velcro part, that covers the majority of the top of the “shoe”.*****I highly recommend getting the ones that HAVE A SINGLE, LARGE VELCRO COVER FOR THE TOP OF THE SHOE. Just look closely at different photos & you’ll see what I mean. These have two or 3 straps that don’t connect. That’s right. You have to add it yourself and then cut it to size. All of these are really hard to use, without crutches. You will fall if you put any weight on it, whatsoever. It makes walking, even around the house, incredibly difficult and dangerous. I can only compare it to walking on platform stilettos when you’re not a stripper and your calves don’t work. They’re a death trap.I can barely recommend the others and all run big so small was too big in another size.

Not great for 5th metatarsal fracture. Probably great for toes.
The boot was helpful, and I think the way they do the bottom, so that the shoe pivots instead of your foot bending is actually quite clever. But I think that the foam should be a little bit harder/stiffer. After a couple of weeks of use it started to bend in the middle. This actually put pressure right on the area of the fifth metatarsal fracture that I am trying to heal. So as the foam got softer, the boot got less helpful. I’m sure it’s great for broken toes as advertised. If you’re dealing with a metatarsal issue however, look elsewhere.
