Saslax Maternity Off Shoulders Half Circle Gown for Baby Shower Photo Props Dress

I am a professional photographer and wanted a new dress to use for maternity pictures. This dress is extremely versatile, can fit many ranges of body sizes and can go up pretty high on the shoulders for those Mom's who don't want a lot of skin to show. This was a size Medium and was on a 5.4, 190 lb model. It could have stretched more for a larger model and it could have fit on a lot smaller of model and still looked fantastic. The fabric is not heavy, very soft, did not wrinkle when balled up for transportation/storage and can have leggings on underneath with no show through. I can't recommend this dress more!

This dress is gorgeous! Especially for a photoshoot. The green is a beautiful vibrant emerald green. The fit is true to size but is very stretchy material so there’s a little wiggle room. The material is also pretty thick which was great for my winter photoshoot. But the material is a soft jersey material so soft to the touch. It’s heavy material so not like flow in the wind movement, but with a little manipulation can have a flow in photos. Buy the dress! I’m 5’2” and about 8 months pregnant in this photo.

First the good- this dress had such a soft and buttery texture! The color was even and honestly the blue was perfect. The dress length was very very long but I loved it for the photos. The length does equal more weight, it is a heavy pull to the bottom but I think it really added to the dress and made me feel more comfortable. I felt like a princess in this dress! And although it got dirty, it cleaned easily in the washer.The not so great- I decided not to wear a bra since none of mine fit, and the dress is pretty sheer.. I was able to cover my nipples successfully with bandaids and I wore a nude thong underneath. My photos are edited, however you can see through the color pretty good if it’s laying flat against your skin. With the panties and the bandaids, I still felt a little seen when in the sun. Also, the arms on this size small seemed sooo tight around my biceps. I work out and have for years, but I’m not a very big person either. If I went to a larger size, I don’t think the breast area would have been as flattering on me and the sleeves would have been excessively long since they were already too long.All in all, for photos this dress was perfect for me! If you want to wear it for any formal events or gatherings, I’d suggest some sort of body suit underneath and you’ll definitely be carrying the length with you.

I bought this dress for our maternity photos. I’m 5’2” and was about 134 pounds at 30 weeks pregnant at the time of the shoot. I’m normally a size small. Although the color was slightly more yellow than I was wanting it to be, it was still gorgeous and made me feel so pretty for our photos. The train of the dress is very long, and there’s a lot of fabric to it, so it is a little heavy and is weighed down at the bottom, which meant I did have to pull it up at the breast area quite a bit. Otherwise, the dress is of very good quality. I feel like in my one photo here this color was slightly see through near my legs, but that didn’t bother me at all, and that may be different depending on color. There was no smell to the dress when I opened it.

Only reason I’m giving a 4 star is because I haven’t worn it to my event yet. I have only tried it on. I’m 33 weeks pregnant, about 295ish lbs, 5’4.5. I got an XXL, while the top is a little tight it still fits beautifully!! I feel absolutely beautiful, like a princess. It’s everything I wanted in a babyshower/ maternity shoot dress. I will wear it for both!! I will come back and write an updated review with pictures after the shoot and event.

I was hesitant on spending $75 on a dress I would most likely wear once for my maternity pictures….. but I am SO HAPPY I did! The material feels thin but does not look thin AT ALL! I am sure there are some girls that would be okay with not wearing a bra but I decided to use “sticky bra” (that stick to your breasts) so I had more of a lift. I have 0 complaints for this and if you’re on edge about it, JUST DO IT! :) I attached a couple of my maternity pictures so you can see the color of the purple!Also for size (mediums were out so I went with a small and it was stretchy enough it worked!!!) : I am 5’8 , size D right now and about 182 lbs!

I can't say enough good things about this dress! I bought it for my maternity shoot and figured if I could wear it to my shower that would be a bonus.I am 5'4" and when I wore the dress I weighed 200 lbs. and was a 36DDD bra size. I tentatively ordered a medium based on other reviews (and because large was sold out) but the medium fit me perfectly! It was a TINY bit snug getting it onto my chest area, but once it was on and everything adjusted into place, I felt extremely comfortable and never felt that the dress was too tight or that I was restricted in any way. I honestly think that a large would have been too big.The dress was long on me, but it flowed beautifully for the photos which was the main goal. The dress is very well made with soft fabric and has a second layer/slip underneath that goes to your knees. This is such an important detail in dresses and really sets apart those that are well made!Even though I am pretty large-chested, I also felt that the dress covered me completely and showed enough skin without showing too much. I am more on the conservative side and didn't want a push up bra or anything - more power to you if you rock one! I wore a nude pregnancy/breastfeeding/sports bra type bra underneath and it worked perfectly. I also wore a nude pregnancy shaper.If you are buying the dress for photos, I would highly recommend bringing mom/sister/etc. along to hold the dress during the shoot. It really helps make the best use of all that beautiful fabric. I also washed the dress in my regular washer (cold water) after our very sandy beach shoot. The dress help up beautifully in the wash and I hung it to dry.I searched in a lot of different places and this dress for this price couldn't be beat! If you are on the fence, definitely buy it!
