Q: Is the front edge sharp or serrated ? Spinning could cut another outside playing or trying to come aboard?

No front is very smooth. There is know rough edges to cut you or your pet. Also the wood on the back my Chin can not get to has not been chew on. The only thing that I can complain about is when my chin gets on it it shake the cage.The cage rattles and is very loud but it could be my cage at fault.Over all I'm very happy with the wheel it was worth the money . If your chin has never use a wheel it will take time for them to use it. I had it for about a month and a half before my chin would use it.

Q: I'm concerned that my chin could chew the wood on the back of the wheel. Before spending the money, I want to make sure this won't be an issue.

We have had this for about 5 months and my Chin has not chew on the back yet. I very happy that I go the product so much better that the plastic ones. The wheel is very quiet but when my chin gets it going the whole cage rattles. It did take him about a month to get on the wheel.Not sure if his original owners had a wheel for him , but once he found out what to do he loves it. He would not get on the plastic ones but did chew them up. I believe it is worth the money when I get a bigger cage I may get an other one. Good luck.

Q: could this work for a ferret?

No! Ferrets should never have a wheel, as they are dangerous for the ferrets’ spine.

Q: Bought chin wheel...wheel is bent when opened....how do I get a return label?

Contact the seller showed at your purchase , them should hold you up their return policy.
