XIAOKOA 2.4G Wireless Microphone Headset, 50m Stable Transmission, Dual Micro USB Charging, Compatible with PA Systems

Bought this at the same time as the ION Audio Job Rocker Plus to use as a portable PA system on the outdoor firing range when I run classes. I generally have 40 or so people per class. I bought this unit specifically because I read good reviews concerning this unit with in concert with the Job Rocker Plus. It works just as advertised. The range and battery life are as stated. You get more battery life if you remember to turn off the unit when not using it. Having not read the manual completely, the first time a low battery indication came up and the unit stopped working I didn't know what the problem was. When I had time after class to look at the manual, it was clear I had just run the battery down. One convenient thing is that the base and transmitter can be recharged from a USB Y-cable included in the box. It plugs into a USB port in the front of the Job Rocker so I can recharge on site. The unit can be used either handheld or via a headset arrangement that holds the mic in front of your face. The one thing you should be aware of is that the mic is very sensitive, so you will need to turn the volume down on the mic if you need to have a conversation that you don't want broadcast over the PA. Just pulling the flexible boom away from your face won't do it. It can still pick up your voice.

This is a great product for the price! A must for a starting career.

I needed an inexpensive mic that would work with multiple speakers at different pools. This one is great!! It does not cut out the music when I speak, it has adjustable volume at the earpiece. I use it for Aqua Zumba and the base is about 20 feet away from me and it works well! So well, the gym is investing in two for other instructors to use also.Update 10/2023-Using this mic 3-4 hours per week, it recently started cutting in and out. So I would say it worked well for about 8 months. Still a great mic for the price, just do not expect it to last a long time.

The microphones are good, that’s why I encourage people to buy them, they’re not expensive, Bluetooth sharing is normal , so I’ll buy them again

I bought this item in May 2017. I tried it through the PA for a couple minutes and decided I didn't want to use it (I liked a different type better, one with a wearable speaker that I had already been using.) It was literally on for three minutes, and I put it away. I decided to keep it in case I changed my mind in the future. Fast forward to December when I found a good use for it - for a student (I'm a teacher) to wear during a musical number where they had some speaking lines. Took it back out of the box, and it was immediately flakey. The adapter to connect to quarter-inch input in the PA was SUPER loose, providing VERY intermittent and unreliable connection. Tried for several days and could not get it to work. Just touching it would make it crackle. Needless to say, I'd had it way too long to return it and at that point so ended up buying a different brand that a colleague recommended, which worked for four shows flawlessly and had a MUCH more secure connection.

I have updated my review from 1 to 3 stars. I have not had a chance to test the new one out yet, but the company did reach out to me and replaced the mic with a new one. Once I have used the new one and confirm that it works and does not loose it's charge, I will update the review again.I have used this headset for under 1 month and the battery on the headset stopped holding a charge. I am a fitness instructor and used this for 15 classes. For 13 of them it sounded good and I had no issues. During one class it died but it had been a couple of uses since I had charged it. Today I fully charged it before class and it didn't last even 15 minutes before it died. I have made sure to never overcharge it, taking it off charge when the red light goes off.I bought this in June of 2020, but for serval reasons I was unable to start using it until January of this year. I don't make much money so I can't afford to replace mics. I need something I can depend on, and unfortunately this product is not it.

This great mic does not come with the speaker / receiver that is in the pic but it works GREAT! On a computer, right click the speaker in your computer's bottom toolbar and set it up in the settings for recording etc... You can even set the computer speakers or external speakers to work as a monitor / amplifier. We have EQ editing programs etc on our computer so we can also change the quality of the sound and special effects etc. This sounds great and is a high quality sounding mic and I would recommend it for anything from singing to lectures to books on tape etc... Make sure you turn it off when charging (so the light goes out when fully charged, otherwise the light will always stay on). It also plugs into and works with and sounds great on the $10 mic with FM radio amplifier sold by this same company.And yes, I paid for this myself so I did not get compensated in any way for this very honest great review.

I've been an instructor for four years and this is the best mic I've ever had. It's extremely easy to use, just plug the receiver into the stereo and make sure the ON buttons are switched and the lights on the receiver and mic are blue. Bam, done!I've had no issues with this mic at all. Sound quality is good and is honestly going to correspond to your stereo quality. I've never had the mic fade in or out. The only thing that's happened is that when the master volume is too loud, the mic will become static like when I yell. But, this was a stereo issue, not a mic one. The master volume just needed turned down and the iPod volume needed turned up.I actually bought a second one to stash at work in case I subbed for someone throughout the day and left my bag at home.Battery lasts a while. I can teach at least 3-4 one hour classes with this. I haven't tried to teach longer than that without charging since I'm paranoid.Definitely recommend for all instructors!!
