Q: Does the straight end pieces wear away the inside of the watch lugs?

Honestly, I've never been worried about that as my main concern was to keep the watch from falling off. Every time I've had a watch fall off with a bracelet was because the lug pin gets bent and comes out. With the solid steel end links, they push on the side wall of the lugs and prevent the force from bending the pin, keeping the bracelet from coming undone. The end links and the lugs are solid steel on steel so I can't see how any wearing inside the lug area would ever be an issue. Hope that helps.

Q: Are all the pieces stainless? I want to use this for a waterproof watch, but if all the pins and pieces aren't stainless then they'll rust.

I’ll weigh it like this: I don’t know if the spring bars on this bracelet will rust, since I didn’t put it in water, but if this is a real product from Strapcode, then I think it’s of high quality. I have other Strapcode bracelets - they don't even rust the spring bars and joints.

Q: How short can the band be adjusted? I have a 5" wrist and large watch face.

It has some adjustment in the clasp. It is also possible to remove extra links. Another way to tighten its fit is daily wrist curls.
