Great anti- bark collar - Many option
This is a review of the Pro-version Dr Trainer collar (not the B-1 pro). The Pro version is well worth the extra cost. Our 2 1/2 year old dog barked when we left her in the house. Her breed is known to bark more. We thought that she only barked for 5 minutes after we left, until we recorded her. She barked for one and a half hours. We tried an ultrasonic anti-bark device that had very little effect.I set up the Dr. Trainer Pro collar with the app (you must use the app to access all the settings). The print instruction, in the box, are minimal but you can figure it out if you've ever set up (paired) an internet enabled device with bluetooth setup. The app works well stayed paired and contrary to other reviews - the app foes NOT need to be continually connected to the collar. You set the collar options with the app, then the collar remembers the options. The app opens up all the options. I set up our collar with an initial voice recording warning ("don't bark") . You can record your voice as the warning. If she barks again within 30 seconds, she then gets a siren warning. I didn't want to use the "shock", which they call "static" trainer. This collar has a vibration setting (Just a vibration). This worked fantastically. She stops barking immediately. With the app, you can set the loudness of the warning, the type of warning and the strength of the vibration. I have the shock option but never used the shock option. The device is solid and well-built. It has a built-in microphone to detect barking and a flashing light to let you know that it's on. I never used the external hand-held control, except to test the collar vibration strength. So, our dog barked for 9 minutes the first time we used it, then 2 minutes the second time we used it, then she barked once and stopped. Now, she almost never barks. Since her breed is known to be "barky", I think that this item was a great success. It is easy to charge the rechargable battery, which lasts a long time.If you don't need all the options in the pro version of this collar or you don't know how to use an app with a device, then I would not buy the Dr. Trainer Pro. But, this is a great collar that does it all if you use the app to set up all the custom options. 5 stars.

Can’t buy another remote
The vibration is strong and sound is very loud. Just not too impressed with the app. It only reaches about 50 ft and you constantly have to reconnect it. My remote was very easy to use and I really like it. But I spilled some water on it and now it won’t work and I’ve looked everywhere to buy a new one and can’t find one. Everything I find is selling the collar and the remote and I need just the remote. The auto bark works sometimes and others not. It’s very frustrating to correct the behaviour especially since the app takes so long to load and my remote doesn’t work

I should’ve listened to the negative reviews
I’m extremely disappointed in the fact that I bought this for it to stop working Literally right after the one month return window closed, what are the odds in that happening my goodness. Please believe the negative reviews including this one because I certainly wish I did.I still went ahead and took the chance (foolish on my part) and bought this because being disabled (C6 incomplete quadriplegic) with very limited function in hands (can’t open fingers) I wanted an affordable dog collar with app connectivity knowing I wouldn’t need to use the remote since I live in a studio within the State’s and visual range of my Luna and was enjoying the ability to correct any unwanted behavior via vibration which worked very well up until it didn’t.One day I had my HHA take it off the charger since it indicated it was fully charged and my son put the collar on and the app wouldn’t connect. I asked him if he turned it on he said yes, mind you I had it about 5 weeks so he was used to doing without directly looking it’s only one button to power on within a second or two. He took it off so we don’t vibrate or use the collar for no reason while on my pup and I tried with the remote which also didn’t work.He tried turning it on again in front of my then my HHA tried them when pounded it in I a green light came on, so we figured okay it works now and is fully charged. The moment we unplugged it the light goes off and out again wouldn’t work AT ALL.It has never been submerged in water, never damaged, and seems like such a waste of money for what otherwise up until a few days ago was a great functioning device that fit my needs at a reasonable price. What’s not reasonable is the fact that this device fails clearly enough but is still on sale on Amazon and the manufacture or Amazon themselves need to stop selling this product until they fix the issue or find out why the product fails so quickly. Please take the bad reviews including mine seriously as I wish I headed the warnings because being on SSI getting less then $900 a month in income when spending $10 on a product to stop working within 5 weeks hurts and now I’m left with a defective product I can’t get a replacement for a week after the return window.
