Good versatile razor.
Although the razor is lighter than my previous Braun which I’d had for 10 years, it shaves well. The long hair trimmer requires a change of head, however it is of decent length and only takes seconds to do. The razor is quieter when switched on. It comes with 5 different cutter heats which slot over the long hair trimmer for stubble, moustache trimming. The numbers on these are different from hair clippers so a number 3 equates to a “number one” haircut.Overall good value for money and I am very pleased with the results.

Nice quality and a good close shave
I moved from Remington. This is a good buy: a quality made product with a very good close shave and it's washable under the tap. The battery holds charge well. Two minor issues (hence 4 and not 5 stars): you have to change the head for the trimmer - it isn't difficult and it allows you to get the foils for a close shave - just a minor irritation, and it comes with no pouch / bag. Otherwise - vey happy with its function, style and handling.

Ain't Misbeshaving
Best shaver I've owned.I've had a few before it and this one just seems to work better, can get a nice stubble length if you don't like to be completely clean shaven. Works well on nuts in the shower too, grade one keeps you safe from painful sack shocks.

Great product
Great product, very impressed with Braun. I have always been a Philips shaver man but this product has converted me entirely. Very close shave and my skin feels smooth and like it has been shaved with a razor. Easy to clean and the extra attachments work well. The head cleaning unit is a little loud but it works well.

The cut is ok, but not great
It doesnt cut close enough unfortunately, and the battery life is very short. Needs constant charging.

Didn't like my face.
I have only ever own a Philips' rotary shaver for my face and Wahl trimmers for other parts. I got feed up of Wahl feeling cheap and failing after about a year and switched to a Braun kit. It was really well made and worked much better. As my Philips' is now over 10 years old and the shave not as good as it once was, I decided to try this Braun foil shaver. First attempt was on 3 day old facial hair. It removed nothing. After several attempts, I returned to my old Philips' and with the exception of my neck area - had a reasonably smooth shave. The following morning, I tried the Braun again and still it didn't appear to remove anything but the Philips' still cleared the morning stubble quite well. At this point, thinking I was doing something wrong or the shaver was broken - I started to read some posts on shaving websites (everything truly is online) which is when I discovered that the holes in foil shavers tend to be much smaller than rotary shavers and this can mean they are not effective on thicker / coarse hair. As my whiskers are generally referred to as iron filings by my wife, I'm guessing I fall into that category - lol.I have since returned the Braun and invested in a newer, better Philips' rotary which is shaving brilliantly. I blame my face, not the Braun - it's simply a case of the right tool for the job. For £60 it was well enough made and based on the reviews - all those with nice soft fine whiskers - it appears to work well. The rest of us will have to stick to a Philips' or Bosch power sander.

Avoid like the plague
The shaver I bought was delivered promptly but has not and can never work: although I bought it from Amazon UK and it was delivered to a UK address, it was sent with an EU plug. It does not charge nor work with UK bathroom sockets. (The shavers are sent out with either a UK or EU adaptor. Bizarrely, Braun sent a European one.) The only response from customer care was to tell me to buy a European adaptor or return it for a refund. Really unimpressive.
