Q: It was yellow again is it shelf stable if you changed the process more than 4 months ago? Did I get expired inventory?

Hello, The yellow (amber carmelized) color is completely normal - it is due to a change in our formulation process. Please email us your batch number (located on the package) and we will also research your batch specifically. You can email us at sales@popsbirding.com, If for any reason you are unhappy, we will replace with another batch but please know the yellow color is completely safe and normal.

Hello, Pop’s Nectarade is made with all natural ingredients. There are no GMO, pesticides or herbicides in our nectar.

Hello, The yellow color is completely natural, we changed a process in the formulation recently to extend the shelf life which resulted in the yellow color. A small batch was run with this and we changed it back shortly after due to customers reaching out on the color change. We have heard some customers say their hummingbirds don’t have a preference for this batch which is why we will replace it with the new batch that was returned to the original formula. Any customers wanting to replace please send your batch number on the package to sales@popsbirding.com or reach out to us through Amazon. Q: It the liquid red? I have a clear hummingbird feeder and they're not using it because it isnt red.

Hello, The liquid is clear with no harmful dyes or additives. While having a red feeder certainly helps hummingbirds discover a feeder, it isnt a necessity for hummingbirds to use. As long as you are providing a reliable fresh food source they will become frequent visitors once they discover the feeder. You can try hanging some red reflective flagging tape from your feeder to help them discover the feeder, then be sure to clean and change the nectar often. We like to fill our feeders 1/4 of the way with Nectarade so we can change every other day with fresh nectar.
