Stands upright which is perfect at our learning station. Gloss cardboard, not laminated so I do not leave unattended. I do like the wide range of emotions, as even though my children are too young to understand all of them currently the book will grow with them as they learn to identify more emotions. The size is smaller than I expected, and it takes a while to find the emotion your kid is requesting as you have to flip through the whole thing but they are placed alphabetically so maybe in time we will get used to it. The back page shows all the emotions and I use that as the cover page so my toddlers can easily see the display and choose accordingly. Cute graphics. Overall would recommend.

It a fun book and my 7 year old enjoys using it. I have also asked him to go see his book when he is dealing with tough and big feelings and it helps him channel his energy. Great addition to the book shelves.

I have a very strong willed toddler so I have look for any and everything to help and I came across this, I was hesitant as I didn’t expect a book to help but my son responded well to correlating his feelings with the pictures and picking something to do that will make him feel better or rewarded. If you’re looking for help I’d say it’s worth a shot!

I love this book. I am using it with my three kids. The illustrations are amazing and there are interventions you can use. Work in progress.

This was easy for my child to understand. The explanation for each emotion is awesome. Definitely a book I would recommend for a child who has a hard time.expressing their emotions.
