WilkinsonSword Protector 3 Blades - Pack of 4 Blades

I happened to pick up a razor for traveling, fully expecting to throw it away when the blade cartridge got dull - maybe within the week. And boy, was I WRONG. Wilkinson nowadays is not widely available in these parts, but their refills are fantastic and worth the hunt! They stay sharp longer than the well-known brands without knicks or cuts after the first use.

The Wilkinson protector 3 is a stern competitor of Gillette. Years ago I got deal on 12 packs of cartridges and decided to buy the razor. I couldn’t find a razor in any local store. Had to order on Amazon and never regretted it. Don’t get me wrong I believe the Gillette Mach 3 is the best razor but this Wilkinson is a close second

We have family in the UK and on a trip there I had to purchase a new razor. These blades were amazing! When the blade wore out, I ordered new ones through Amazon for my travel kit just because they were so superior to what I found domestically.

My husband loves this razor and the razor blades! States they last a long time and give a very good shave.

I've happily used these razors for more than 20 years now so I've no complaints about them - they're great and I'll give them five stars all day long. The purpose of this review is to correct the product description for this item which incorrectly states the pack contains the razor and TWO blades (it only contains one) and that it comes in "a handy suction holder so you can fix it to the bathroom mirror or tiles" (it doesn't - there's no holder in the pack).I wanted the razor to replace my old one so these inaccuracies haven't caused me a problem. But I recognise it might be a consideration for others, hence this review. Important to get these details right I think...

After using Gillette Mach 3 blades for my whole adult life, I thought i'd give Wilkinson Sword a go. Real let down. Although they're significantly cheaper they weren't value for money in my opinion. The blades are smaller and narrower than mach 3, clog very easily, meaning I had to get a nail brush to remove hairs on each stroke, taking forever. I had to shave over and over again to get a close shave and even doing that it was nowhere near as close as Mach 3. After using them 3 times I've gone back to M3, as although much more expensive they give a so much better and easier shave

I bought this for my dad so can't comment in actual item. However the product was advertised with an extra blade. I checked several times and it clearly states that it come with a razor and blade + 1 extra blade. So was very disappointed and annoyed to find there was no extra blade .

Having only 3 blades rather than 5 it can follow the contours of my face better to give a clean shave.Been using them for years and will continue to do do as long as I can buy them.

Hubby has been using this razor for years and unfortunately it finally broke, he was desperate to replace with the same and luckily we found on Amazon
