I like to hike with only a waist pack so this size was perfect for my needs. My waist pack usually has a small sunscreen bottle and pepper spray, but this Repel item has saved me from having to turn around from a mosquito attack while hiking and fishing. I also keep a second one in my glove box which I used while camping and ants were heading towards our tent. I sprayed a little Repel as a barrier to the tent and it worked perfectly. Repel is very effective.

I wish they would reissue the Fishermen't Friend bug spray pens, that was the most amazing bug spray i ever used it keep mosquitos off for a full 12 hours with just a little spritz on your clothing. It was utterly amazing. This stuff only works for a few hours. Their Picardian in the big bottle is a leaking disaster and does not keep bugs off. Has no scent.I love the pen design best container of any bug spray line. Light to carry, easy to tuck in your purse or backpack and direct to specific places, never leaks, fantastic design.

I did some research before our Scotland trip and read this product worked on the pesky midges. It was a LIFESAVER. Midges are horrible nasty things that can ruin your hike and your day. Throw this stuff in your pack/purse and spray it on when they appear then POOF they will leave you alone. A+ I was even sitting in the car with the windows down and they started swarming in the car. I sprayed the inside of our rental and they kept away. 10/10 will buy again.

I'm one of the unlucky few who are irresistible to mosquitoes. It makes South Carolina summers a nightmare if I'm not prepared-- because, as anyone who shares my mosquito bite plight will know, people who don't get eaten alive are always trying to convince you that "let's sit outside, right on the marshy water! At dusk! With no wind! Mosquitoes aren't a problem, I never get bitten!" And then there you are, you thought you were going to happy hour indoors (thus are wearing regular perfume, instead of your trusty Odeur de Deet) but now you can a) demand that you sit inside, disappointing everyone else b) just go with it, maybe it won't be so bad... Then get 400 bites or c) whip this bad boy out of your purse like a mosquito fighting vigilante!!!There's not much in the bottle, but it's strong and it works. A couple sprays on bare skin and you're good to go for at least a couple hours. I keep one in my bag at all times, and I plan to get another one for my car. You might want to keep it in a ziploc bag because deet can do weird stuff to fabric, nail polish, etc. if it happens to leak. That hasn't been a problem for me but it's worth being careful about.

Great to keep with you I have a severe allergy to mosquitoes. Yes it exists, it is not the same as a typical reaction to uncomfortable mosquito bites. When bit I develop large, red, hot swollen hives. They look like bruises.In general, it is easy to keep these on your person if you forget a larger container or find yourself somewhere you didn’t expect to be susceptible to misquotes.This is a strong repellent & may not be appropriate for everyone, especially children.

I bought this for trip to Costa Rica. It leaks or some spray stays on bottle. The problem is it will melt anything it touches. It ruined my leather wallet, my speck cell phone case, & my eye glass case. This stuff is potent. Not sure what it is and should I put this on my body? It did keep bugs away. If you use this, keep it in ziplock bag & away from anything else. It will ruin anything it touches.
