Q: this is confusing? am i buying all five cartridges for 24 bucks? if not, what e.x.a.c.t.l.y.. will i get? i have a wf7110

Yup. XL black & std color ink cartridges. Using in WF7720 & had no issues installing or using so far (admittedly w low print volume). Your mileage may vary.

Q: Does anyone have any advice to get them to work on a WF-3640? I have tried manual and electronic cleaning and reinstalling the cartridges.

I have an Epson WF 7620 which utilizes a 252 cartridge and I have not had a problem. My printer is about 5 years old and I do not update the software. The printer does tell me that the cartridge is not authentic Epson. I hit continue.

Q: To the customers that got the ink cartridges to work with wf3640, please tell me how? how can yours work but not mine(and i am computer literate)?

I followed the instruction and I also removed all of the cartridges and reloaded them. It just takes a little patience, but the final result is worth the price!
