I have to admit, I'm a little bit daunted by this puzzle. It arrived quickly and picking it up, the box is heavy!! I am very pleased with the quality, this is my first Ravensburger puzzle and I am impressed, the pieces fit together well, they're thick, well-made, there is a variety of shapes and sizes and the colours are vivid. The puzzle comes in two separate bags so you can choose to work on one side at once or go all in and mix all 9000 pieces together if you're really brave. A handy poster-sized reference picture is also included which is very helpful. So far I am not even quarter of the way through the left-hand side after about two weeks of working on it so this puzzle is not for the faint of heart! Should keep me entertained for a very long time! =) Definitely recommended if you're looking for a serious challenge or as a family activity (there is definitely plenty of room for a lot of people to work on it at once as i can lay inside the fully completed border.) Amazing puzzle so far. I am only 4 days in and have been struggleing do the small work space I have 8' X 4' table top. I am doing one half at a time due to such limited space. I have been seperating pieces and flippiong them over I have only logged a few hours so far both doing an inital sort, but half of the boarder is done and it seems like it will be tons of fun. I read other reviews that said "check to make sure you have different bags and when you dont demand a refund." well I did check and I have two bags of vibrently colored pieces and I can't wait to get my puzzle on and start using that famous Ravensburger smart click technology. If things change as I work more on my puzzle I will be sure to update my review. Happy puzzling.

This is the second 9,000 Ravensburger puzzle for me and I am really enjoying this one. The colors are great! The pieces come in two separate bags (left side and right side) but I felt like it was cheating to assemble it as if it were two smaller puzzles so I immediately opened and mixed the bags to make it more challenging. We actually had to build a special table out of plywood to assemble these 9,000 piece puzzles but it was well worth it given the hours of entertainment assembling the puzzles provides. I only wish Ravensburger offered a larger selection of this size puzzle as I will soon be ready for the next one :)

The puzzle is actually over 9000 pieces, however, it arrives in two bags, and makes it easy to keep the puzzle in two sections. Colors are vibrant and pieces are thick. I've glued the puzzle and framed them. Visitors are surprised that picture is a actually a puzzle.

This was a gift, I am in love with the image.. One thing was that the box was damaged =( and I could not get an exchange. However the pieces are nice and thick, very little dust. and the picture vibrant and gorgeous! Definitely a must have for avid puzzlers!

I ordered and received the puzzle last week, and based on the other reviews, I quickly inspected the 2 bags in the box. In my case, they were 2 different bags, 1 bag for each side of the puzzle. So either they have fixed this problem, or I have been lucky! It is a great and nice looking puzzle, but a real challenge to finish it.

My last review was kicked back because they didn't like the way I reviewed the product. Here's another attempt.Do not buy this product. It seems I am one of at least 4 people who bought the puzzle with 2 bags (marked A and B) but each one contained the same side of the puzzle. While typically I wouldn't recommend pooling all the pieces, if you purchase this puzzle, open it immediately and sort just the corner pieces out of bag A and bag B. When they match, demand a refund immediately.Ravensburger is often a good puzzle company, but this type of mistake is destructive to their reputation. If anyone has two right sides, please let me know as we may be able to do a puzzle(half) swap. Odds are good the pieces will mostly fit together!Seriously - do not buy. When it goes on sale, pay less than half price because you will get less than half a correct puzzle. I put in 3 pieces showing different parts of the puzzle that were identical (except corner piece had lower edge cut a little bit lower).
