How long can these hand warmers be stored and still be good to use?

The shelf life for these warmers is 2-3 years. The exact expiration date is on the packaging. Once opened they are only good for the number of hours stated on the packaging.

Can this item be placed inside a coat pocket and produce heat without burning?

Absolutely. They're great for that, as well as for putting inside your gloves/mittens. They generally don't get hot enough to cause burns, but still you should use caution re sleeping with them, putting them with children or elderly people, etc. They have been known to melt silk underwear & cause a skin burn that way, but that's the only way I've ever known anyone to be injured with one of these, & I've been using them for years.

Hello! How do you heat them? In a microwave? And how many time?

No need to warm them. They warm themselves. Just open them according to package instructions and they warm right up. They are a one time use. Throw away when the heat is gone. Will last for four hours and more
