Works GREAT!!
If you do your own bike maintenance and you are changing the cassette this is a must device. Much easier to use than the devices with the bike chain at the end. I highly recommend this tool.

Works perfect
This tool is awesome. I had my cassette kind of frozen on the hub. These along with a 30 inch breaker did the job with no damage to the cassette. Spent a little more on this over the chain style but very glad I did. No bending arms, etc.

Chuck the ol' whip
Pretty ingenious of Pedro's to combine vise grip pliers with chain links. By far the best tool for cassette removal I've tried. My old chain whip sits in the corner of my tool drawer in shame

Beats the Alternatives
The Pedro's Vise Whip II Cassette Removal Tool is the Houdini of bike tools—it grips your cassette with the tenacity of a determined mother-in-law. Gone are the days of wrestling with traditional chain whips that slip more often than a banana peel on a comedy stage. This tool's ingenious locking mechanism clamps down with a satisfying click, holding on for dear life and refusing to let go until the job is done. It's like having a pit crew in your garage. If you've ever shouted at a stubborn cassette, this is your new best friend. Who knew cassette removal could be as satisfying as popping bubble wrap? Thanks, Pedro's, for turning a chore into a pleasure!

Less wonderful than hoped for a fixed gear
Thoughtfully-designed tool that did not work quite as well as I hoped for removing the lockring and cog from a fixed-gear bicycle, slipping multiple times from both despite use of the locking mechanism. It seems like it might fit more securely to a multi-speed cassette where the tool could brace against an adjacent cog.To be fair, the cog was horribly stuck and eventually required a bench vise to remove, so this experience may not reflect typical use. This tool did manage the lockring and worked fine for tightening down the new cog, though still seemed at risk of slipping if not positioned just so.

Sooooo Much Better Than a Chain Whip
Unlike a chain whip, this tool is simple to use. It's not cheap, but it is built with the usual Pedro's high quality, and if you ever have to remove a cassette several times in the same afternoon you will be grateful to own this tool. I first saw it on an EZGain YouTube video. I ordered it before the video finished playing. If you have any doubts, go watch the video.

Superior to chain whip. Once you have used these you won't want to do it any other way.
Pedro's vise whip of those tools that once you have used it, you won't want to do it any other way. This will make you want to throw your chain whip in the trash. These are indispensable when you get a cassette with a seized or over tightened lock ring, since you can just put your foot on it and use a breaker bar, no problem.

Peaked with their tire levers
It broke. They make great tire levers, though.
