We are very pleased with this purchase for the following reasons :-The oil capacity is ideal , it will hold a whole 500ml bottle of oil , no unnecessary filling / cleaning .The spray works extremely well with olive oil and we feel that spraying is therefore very economical .We have not had cause to clean it yet but it looks simple .No leaks or dribbles .It ought to last a lifetime !

My former oil spray needed to be pumped before use, but you did get a mist of spray. In fact a light mist developed around the area when you sprayed and I wafted it away to avoid breathing it! But it got clogged and worked less well so I bought this new one. This seems ok but the crucial thing to remember is what is says on the label that comes attached i.e. this bottle produces a horizontal or vertical fan of spray. It does not produce an even mist. Also, quite a lot comes out to give a good coat of oil. I’m now adding to this review 9 months after purchase! And it’s to say it’s GREAT and I wouldn’t be without it. I use it for oiling pans and griddles, roasts etc. I have really got used to it and wouldn’t go back to a misty spray!

I've had a few oli sprayer bottles. Most end up in the bin, or donated to a charity shop if they're more expensive. The reason - when it's time to refill, you have to undertake a major clean to get the thing to work. The oil always seems to get gummed up inside and they become more trouble than they're worth.Not with this one. I use it all the time, and refill it frequently. It's never let me down, never gummed up and it's the only one 'd recommend.

Ok - you need to twiddle the feed tube to face forwards or when you tip the bottle it doesn't always work unless the bottle is more than 20% full. Not a delicate mist - but still good for lightly oiling something - but the spray is a bit irregular - a lot in one direction and an invisible nebulous spray somewhere else so even now and then you find the side of the kettle is lightly oiled!On balance better to have than not. Hence 4*

Would be nice to have a finer spray but as it stands, it distributes the oil in a fanned-out straight line either vertically or horizontally, depending on how you twist the nozzle... but not a cone-style spray of mist... which would be nice for lightly oiling frying pans for things like pancakes. However, I prefer this to the old pressurised one we had before which was just a leaking bloody mess, constantly covered in dribbles of oil and who's seals never held pressure for very long. This hand-pumped solution doesn't suffer from that, so I much prefer it. Nice size, excellent looking quality... overall very good, a finer spray would have clinched it 5 stars!
