These blank DVD discs really work well for my projects.The price is what led me to choose this item, and the quality keeps me purchasing it.

I record TV shows onto DVD as an archive, using a Toshiba DVD recorder from the mid-2000s. I've used many brands of DVD-Rs, previously with Memorex, Maxell, Verbatim, and Philips. In my experience, Maxells worked the best with maybe 3 failed discs per 100pk, in contrast to Verbatim where I had at least 11 DVDs fail per 100pk. So, I decided to try out PlexDisc, a brand I typically ignored because I thought it was an "off-brand". However, I have had the best experience with these discs. I have purchased probably about 5 different 100pks and burned over 500 discs, and I have had maybe 3 fail. 3 over 500 discs!!! An incredibly low failure rate on these, and they seem to archive well, I have some Verbatim discs from last year that have already "rotted" and the PlexDisc's are still going strong. The reliability combined with the low price have made me a fan. 100% recommended for any disc-burning needs.

The first pack of these DVDs I bought didn't work in my "newer", yet still older DVD recorder; so; I hastily returned them in frustration thinking the more expensive name brand discs at the local retail store would do the trick. Nope, those were a "no-go", as well; so I returned those, too. I then decided to look up the owner's manuals for both of my DVD recorders online and was surprised to see that the older player required a certain type of disc versus the newer model. After all, they all look like the same silver saucer to me; but, yes, some can definitely be different, which newer players don't always accommodate. You must be aware of not only the quantity you need , but also the type, and you'll be fine. These discs are definitely the most reasonably priced on the market today and I highly recommend them (once you determine which kind of discs your unit is compatible with). Hope this helps!

Great discs, no issues except one. There is no spindle. Discs are loose once you open the plastic. Luckily I still had my old one sitting there (I'm not the cleanest person on Earth).

Never failed to record.

Works great, I just wish they came with a spindle, once opened, they just become a mess.

I create 2 DVDs a week of our Worship service to distribute among our shut-ins who have no internet access to connect to our Zoom. I have had perhaps 2 disks out of the ones used so far (2/3 of the container) which were 'bad' and would not record. My only complaint about this product is the packaging. There is no plastic sleeve to contain the disks, only the paper label describing the product. The base does not have a spike running the whole length of the packaging. It is barely half the height of the stack of disks. As we keep these, I will likely have to purchase a storage case which does have a full cover and full length spindle for the 100 disks to be stored appropriately.
